Description of Work: Great company. When we built our new home they supplied us with a commercial Honeywell system for around $850 and our monthly monitoring is only $20 a month. It is now 8 years later and our monitoring has not changed in price. Excellent service!!

Description of Work: They replaced the alarm panel, added cellular interface, and added additional door sensors to the alarm panel. In addition they are the monitoring company for the system. | We have used them since November of 1997 as the alarm company and the professionalism and price are excellent.

+ -1 moreIt went very well. The Tech at American Security Alarms was very knowledgeable and very helpful to the cable tech, as well as to me in correcting the problems. He knew what to ask to define the problems, and he walked us through the solution to each one. In fact, it was because of the American Security Tech's advice that we were able to get the fix done at no charge to us. I was advised to call the cable company, to allow them an opportunity to correct the error, because the problem was caused by them not following procedure. The cable company was going to charge us for a house call, in order to repair it, but because I had good information from American Security, I was able to negotiate the no charge visit.
Description of Work: He walked the cable company through the process to reconnect our alarm monitoring system, because they had disconnected it (leaving us without communication between our security system and the monitoring company for months),

+ -1 moreThis company had two very nice guys, Ron and Harry, who come and install the system. It took them 2 days. They worked very hard and cleaned up after themselves. They were very professional, extremely polite and respectful. It was a pleasure having them in our home. I would highly recommend them for any installation!
Description of Work: We had the whole house alarmed-doors, windows, motion detectors. We chose this company at the recommendation of our alarm company in NJ. They were great to work with!. A little more costly than NJ but then everything in Oregon seems more expensive.
