It was a nightmare. The contract stated it would be finished in 4 days & no more than 1 week. It wasn't finished for 14 days. It is a husband & wife team. We had to listen to the wife constantly yell at her husband. The owner Greg did almost zero (0) work. They said they had a crew & did not. They did bring in a worker for a couple days. He actually waited 3 hours for them to return one day & was so fed up with them he quit & started walking home. They would not show up until late afternoon to work & would quit at 5:00pm. Rather than get a dumpster they rented a moving van. They had a flat in one of the tires (from the job site) & came to us trying to say that we slashed their tire. They parked the moving van, blocking half the street & left. We had to deal with angry neighbors. We gave them 1/2 the money when we signed the contract. Twice they asked us for more money. We finally told them if they were not finished in 2 days that was it. They finished but it was the worst experience we have ever had. They brought their 2 year old boy to the job site, even when it was pouring rain. It was not safe for a child to be there at all. After all this they tried to get $600 over the contract price.

Terrible. After getting 4 bids and meeting with the owner we decided on this company because of price. I checked the licensed and bonded info. and selected a start date. The first problem began just in getting the dumpster - which took 5 extra days. We are currently 16 days past the due date and do not have the fence posts in, the boards on the deck and the shed is only framed in. The owner does not have a "crew" as he said and arrives at the job (if at all)late in the day and gets in only 3-4 hours. We have our son in law helping him since he's between jobs and if it wasn't for him we would not have anything accomplished. We paid for 1/2 of the job and he's come to us for more money. We will only pay for materials until the job is done. We live in a wooded area and this morning I seen coyotes just outside the property line, so I have to keep my dog inside unless he's on lead. This has been an absolute nightmare - I've learned to get a plan, a material's list and REFERENCES!
