Advanced Ozone Technologies

Description of Work: A few people have complained about a dog smell in my house which I could not get rid of with pet odor sprays. I currently have just one dog, but in the 20 years that I've lived here, I have owned other pets. I was surprised to still have a problem when I have spent thousands of dollars replacing the carpet downstairs with laminate wood and porcelain tile, and installing new carpet upstairs. Two people who complained have dog allergies so I needed a remedy that would eliminate the dander as well as the odor. I had heard of ozone treatments, but I thought they were just for severe recovery situations. Then I found this very unique company. In spite of having a reliable recommendation for this company, I was still hesitant about whether or not this was an appropriate solution to my problem. Especially since after the cleaning we would still be living in the house so I thought the dog odor would quickly return. When I spoke to the owner on the phone, he gave an excellent explanation of the new technology for ozone cleaning that he would be using. He reassured me this was safe and would not take long. My dog and I would need to be gone while the machines were running, but it would be safe to return an hour after the machines were turned off. It would not harm my clothes, appliances, or computer. I would not need to throw out food. I only needed to remove oil paintings and plants. He arrived promptly at 10:00am and the cleaning was finished by 12:15pm. I could have returned an hour later, but having other things to do, I returned at 3:30pm. When I returned to the house, the smell of ozone was still very strong so I opened the windows and doors and called the owner. He explained that the machine manufacturers have done extensive testing and verified that it's safe to reenter the house after 1 hour. He reassured me that the ozone smell takes about 24 hours to dissipate, but being in the house is safe. His recommendation to turn up the furnace helped a lot. It is now two days later and there is very little left of the ozone smell. The dog odor has now been reset to zero and he says it will take quite a while for the odor to build back up. In the meantime if someone is coming to the house, I can use the pet odor sprays.
