 + -1 moreRod was great. He takes the time to explain what's wrong. He was good at pointing out things that were problems vs. things you might want to think about fixing. He was also patient with me when I pointed things out and asked questions about it. He comes across as competent, down to earth, and truly wanting you to understand what is going on with the house based on his visual inspection.
Description of Work: Rod did a typical home inspection for a house I wanted to buy. The house was built in the 20's, and Rod demonstrated good knowledge and experience working with these types of properties.

He provided detailed explanations and professional opinions on the condition and status of all areas, especially any problem areas. He explained possible solutions and recommended resources for problem areas. He provided a written report 'on-the-spot' and makes himself available for future questions or concerns about the inspection and the report.
Description of Work: Pre-purchase Residential Home Inspection.

 + -1 moreIT WAS VERY GOOD. I THOUGHT THAT HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EASY TO WORK WITH. HE LET ME KIND OF HANG AROUND HIM. HE EXPLAINED THINGS IN A VERY EASY TO UNDERSTAND MANNER AND WASN'T CONDESCENDING. HE DIDN'T USE A LOT OF TECHNICAL JARGON. SOMETIMES YOU WALK INTO THESE INSTANCES WHERE PEOPLE USE A LOT OF INDUSTRY JARGON, AND HE WASN'T A SHOWBOAT. MY ONLY CONCERN WAS THAT HE WAS ASSIGNED TO US BY THE INDUSTRY AND THAT SOMETIMES THEY ARE IN IT TO MAKE SALES. I DIDN'T FEEL THAT HE WAS DOING THAT.
Description of Work: THEY DID A GENERAL HOME INSPECTION FOR A HOUSE PURCHASE.
