ABBY'S GLASS INC

The person measuring the glass was a bit late, but was quick once here. The repair crew was given the wrong number to call to reach me so I missed them, but fortunately someone happened to be home to let them in to replace the window. They cleaned up the glass on the patio as well.

Was looking for replacement for failed double payne windows. A guy came out to make measurements and spent a lot of time, measuring every thing twice. After a week, no estimate so I called them back. They said they would call right back, but didn't. To make a long story short, never got an estimate.

Two men came to do the work. The man who repaired the broken glass in my downstairs room left a huge mess of broken glass on both sides of the window. I have tried repeatedly to get resolution with this company but they have given me the runaround and have been very difficult to work with - even the owner, Ally in Seattle.

Windshield was replaced on the car at my residence. I was told to leave their tape on the top of the windshield in place for 24 hours, which I did. The next day, after removing the tape, I noted a gap between the windshield and the rubber strip that had been covered by tape. I also noted that the strip against the windshield on the inside of the car against the dashboard had been cut. When driving the car, the windshield leaked. I called, complained, and was told to bring the car to their shop in SE Portland, and they would repair it, which I did. They had the car all day, and when I picked it up, I was told to leave the tape on until the next day. The following afternoon, while driving the car in town, the rubber strip on the top of the windshield pulled loose and began to flap in the breeze. I got to repeat the repair process again, this time as a 'while you wait' resealing of the strip. I haven't removed the tape yet, but if there's another problem, I won't be going back!

I GOT A SMALL POST IT NOTE ON MY SIDE MIRROR AFTER I WAS FINISHED SHOPPING AT WALMART THAT SAID' CALL ME ABOUT YOUR VEHICLE''. I THOUGHT OH NO, SOMEONE RAN INTO MY VEHICLE. I LOOKED AND NOTHING WAS DAMAGED AND THEN CALLED THE NUMBER, IT WAS SMARTGLASS. THEY HAD BEEN IN THE AREA AND SEEN HOW BAD MY WINDSHIELD WAS. THEY GAVE ME A GREAT PRICE AND CAME ALL THE WAY FROM PORTLAND TO VANCOUVER/ORCHARDS TO REPLACE IT AT AN EXCELLENT PRICE AND QUICKLY.
