ABATEMENT ALTERNATIVES

Overall, it was a mixed bag. Their preparation of the house definitely had some problems. One day my two year old came in from outside with lead paint shavings all over her feet and hands due to their having had hosed off the front porch after scraping, leaving piles of lead paint on the concrete in front of my house. They cleaned it up right away, but it wasn't the only time that they were far from meticulous. I also found them hosing down a plant that they had spilled a gallon of paint upon, which happens, but they were trying to hide it from me. And our decks are a mess. They chose the paint brand and type, and it started coming up a month after they finished. They were quite surly about fixing it; didn't respond to my calls for weeks, then they showed up unannounced and attempted to patch it up, but we wanted a real solution. After that, they would not return our calls. Robert was difficult, but the crew was very personable. The outside is a good paint job, but not decks.

They gave us a very reasonable estimate. They brought over a wheel of paint colors and made sure to ask that we (hubby and I) agreed on the paint color because "they want to make sure we're happy!" They started on a Wednesday before 8am!!! And they were still at it when I returned home after 5pm!!! They expected it to be a 3 day job and stayed for 8 days!!! They painstakingly took down my Wisteria that grew up the porch rafters and bound it up safe while the painting occurred. They checked in with us several times to make sure we thought it looked OK. They waited respectfully out front until we departed for work and offered to go the extra mile in framing and covering some graffiti for now extra costs. Their work was spotless and professional. We are not concerned about the lead-based paint they scraped, there wasn't a chip in sight!!! They pressure washed the WHOLE house instead of just the trim they were going to paint!!! We are very impressed and thankful!

ABATEMENT ALTERNATIVES HAD PLEASANT WORKERS THEY WERE VERY PUNCTUAL AND HARD WORKING. THEY PREPARED THE WEST EXTERIOR WALL OF THE HOUSE AND PRIMED THE SIDE OF THE HOUSE. GREAT CLEAN UP AND DID THE JOB WELL.
