James helped us complete some small home repairs in preparation of selling out home. Everything went very well. One reason we used him was because he actually called us back, unlike some of his competitors. We would recommend him to others.

He did come out and do some work for us and I think that individual we would not use again but I think the company is competent. The gentleman that came out to do the work for us had a really bad attitude and that was problematic for us but the work was competently done. He didn't do everything that we wanted done, he just did a portion of it and the rest he recommended that we go outside his company to get it done. We need ed some work done on the bathroom faucet fixture and he dug into a little bit and said there was nothing he could do but cut the piece of pipe for us so that's essentially all he did. He took a very long time to come to that conclusion and so eventually we had to get one piece of pipe cut cost about $200.

The work was 98% finished. The quality of work was just and quot;okand quot;. I called James 4 more times and sent a text and email trying to get James back out to finish the 15 minutes of work that needed to be done. He wouldn't respond. In my last attempt, I even said if he didn't want to come back to finish, at least tell me he wasn't coming back. Not to respond at all was very unprofessional. I think he thought I was going to discuss the mediocre quality of work he performed and wanted to avoid the confrontation. Either way, not responding at all is VERY unprofessional!

My experiences with James were virtually identical to the review here dated 7/20. He came out to the house, seemed genuinely interested in doing the work and promised to send me a written proposal via email. He phoned a few days later, threw out some numbers (all of which were very high) and then went into silent mode. A written proposal was never submitted for any of the work and I ended up hiring other contractors (for much less money) to attend to each job. A bitterly disappointing experience involving a contractor who came highly recommended by our appliance salesperson.

Fantastic! James is very good, polite, and efficient. We were on a very tight schedule which he stuck to. He provided ideas and took feedback about our ideas. He cleaned up after himself and work crew everyday. He stayed within a reasonable budget (the cost listed above included labor and materials for his work). I had never hired contractors for a big project before and James has set the bar high for any competitors.

They are very nice, dependable, and thorough. They are not expensive at all.

James looked at everything and seemed interested in doing the job. I wanted a bid on conventional roofing including replacing some rotten trim and the plywood under layer. I also inquired about the possibility of an eco-roof. He said he and his wife were planning to put an eco-roof on their home. We had a nice talk about this and another eco-friendly way James could repair my garage. We both seemed to share an interest in environmentally friendly home repair. He said he'd call back with an estimate for the work. James never called back. When I didn't hear from him, I called him and left him a message. He didn't even have the courtesy to return my call. I've never heard from him again. James made a commitment to give me an estimate. All he had to do was tell me why he couldn't or wouldn't do the job and I would have been satisfied. His lack of honesty and lack of consideration for prospective customers reflects badly on him. I wouldn't trust him to do any work of any sort.

He was great. I had no complaints. I am going to ask him to do something else. He was prompt and friendly. He had a good price. I had a coupon and he didn't try to expand the hours or anything like that. He came in and did a good job. He had a good reputation so I will call him again. He was effective. He was very professional and his pricing was fair.
