Alex’s crew wasted no time and quickly were able to get the job nicely done, inspite of torrential rain, my questions, and my change order! All navigated seamlessly. And the results: a house that will stand up to the worst weather the Columbia Gorge sends our way. This siding will stand any test of time.

The entire process was made easy from day 1. We had our house resided and replaced all exterior doors and windows, couldn’t be happier with the work ethic of everyone involved. Highly recommend A-Cut-Above and its team of employees for any project requiring quality and doing it the right way.

A Cut Above was an absolute pleasure to work with. Our project manager Josh was extremely helpful; always answered any questions we had and helped explained the answers he gave so I was able to learn a lot about roofing and siding during the process. I felt comfortable asking anything and knew I'd get a helpful response regardless of if I thought it was a "dumb" question. Juan and Martin did an incredible job with our roof install and I couldn't have asked for a better crew. They were polite, helpful and kept the worksite clean the entire time they were here. I highly recommend working with A Cut Above; it was worth every penny.

A Cut Above Exteriors has been the absolute best customer service experience we have ever received. Jamie in sales was awesome, very knowledgeable, answered all of our questions and was very responsive. Randy and his crew, Tony, Dmitriy, Ivan, and Mike were always on-time, patient with all of our questions, and the hardest working crew I have ever experienced. All construction companies should strive to provide the level of customer service a Cut Above Exteriors provided.

We did our siding and exterior house painting through A Cut Above. This was our first major home project-and I was pretty nervous after hearing some horror stories from other companies, friends and family have used. We easily had 4-6 different companies come out and give us quotes. Mani came out, was hands down the most thorough and took the most time to explain what they do as a company, and what we could expect from start to finish. Where they the cheapest? Nope. Where they the most expensive, not at all. But after the amazing experience we had, I would and will use them again in a heartbeat. Josh the project supervisor was honest, took the time to explain everything in clear and precise detail. He was always available to talk and was patient throughout the entire process. The crew who worked on our house was Andrey and Vlad who where extremely professional, making sure each day the site was clean and safe for when my kids came home. Andrey stayed late one day so he could explain and answer some questions we had. It really showed how much pride this company takes in their work. After our experience-I could not recommend this company enough.

We got 5 estimates for our roofing job which we realized would involve a full tearoff and some plywood and rafter end replacements. A Cut Above wasn't the cheapest estimate but they were the most professional contractor I've ever dealt with. Randy and his crew did outstanding work. Rodrigo, Brayham, and Claudio tired me out just listening to them work from dawn to dusk. Highly recommend.

The fantastic install crew of Nikolay and Dmitriy sided the entire back of our house in 1 day! They answered all of our questions and were extremely gracious to our family. This was the second major job that A Cut Above has done on our house. Both times, I’ve been 100% satisfied and impressed by the all-around quality and service. This time involved two crews, one for the roof, and another for all the soffits and some siding. I had a good amount of contact with the leads of both crews (Rodrigo and Juan) and both were great. The project manager (Randy) was pleasant to work with, and had everything delivered/removed on schedule (despite the weather). His referral for the gutters also worked out perfectly. In the spring, I expect to have them back to fix some windows and redo more siding before I get the house painted.

We hired A Cut Above to replace several windows and the vinyl siding on our 100+ year old home. Everyone we worked with (sales rep, project manager, site crew) was responsive, thoughtful, and professional. This was a complicated project and they seamlessly solved issues that came up along the way. The crew showed up every day, on time, and cleaned up each evening before leaving - they were a joy to work with. We are so pleased with the final product - would highly recommend this company.

We hired A Cut Above to replace our siding, cultured stone and paint the whole thing. We’ve done a lot of remodeling over the decades on our house and we’ve never worked with such a wonderful company as A Cut Above. It started with working with Mani the salesperson. I hate to say “salesperson”. The meeting was so comfortable, no pressure, listened to our ideas. It was like talking it over with a friend. Then we met our project manager, Josh. He is very detail oriented and was there for us every step of the way. We always knew when someone would be at our house. He was always a text away to answer our questions. And once again we felt like we had a friend on our side. Andrey & Vlad were the ones doing the hard work of installing the siding. Every day they were at the house they’d explain what was going to happen that day. And at the end of the day everything was spotless! We had Vlad paint our house. It’s not the first time we’ve had our house painted but it is the first time it was painted by someone so precise. In the beginning we walked around the house and talked about every detail and what color it would be. It really was the best paint job that house has ever had. Everyone who stepped foot on our property was so talented, hard working & professional. In all the remodels we’ve done on our house we’ve never worked with such a company as A Cut Above - a name well suited for the fantastic job and people we had the pleasure of working with.

Our story is long and it has definitely been an emotional and financial journey. We had a project gone wrong, way wrong! Bill with A Cut Above came out and spent a lot of time counseling what we need to do to fix our issues and helped guide us on code as well as correct business practice. After coming out of the logistics of the job gone bad we hired A Cut Above Exteriors to come redo our siding, windows, and some doors. They were top notch professional! From the start to the end, they were clean, pleasant, helpful, understanding, and really turned a nightmare into a dream home. I was beyond lucky to have had A Cut Above do my family's roof! Randy's crew was amazing! He was involved in every step of the process, and went out of his way to ensure I knew what was going on throughout. There was an incredible amount of damage to my roof due to a year of leaking. The damage was repaired and a new roof was put on in what I think was a very short amount of time. Very professional, courteous, and you won't get a better roof anywhere. They also work with the non profit Beacon of Hope, which helps veterans with roofing issues, and that is how I came to have this amazing company help me out.

The crew ( Anatoliy, Chad, Valerio ) re-sided a two story wall on my house. They were very efficient and through. The job was completed in less than a week and looks great! I might add that most of the job was done on rainy days. They took great care to keep the wall dry and my plants intact. Randy, the project manager, was easy to work with and very responsive. I can highly recommend A Cut Above.

This was our second experience with A Cut Above and we could not be happier with the quality of the work they performed. This time we had them re-side our garage after having had them previously re-side our house. They are timely, polite, conscientious, always go the extra mile and perform outstanding work every time. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

We started work with Jamie who did a great job scoping and explaining the project, including modifications, etc. Sam, Nick and Dmitry did an excellent job with execution. A Cut Above Exteriors completely replaced the siding on my house and shed in November 2021, and I can't praise the company and its employees enough! Josh, my project manager, is everything a project manager should be: extremely skilled, on top of the project at all stages, communicative, responsive, and very kind (the last asset sadly lacking today in our world). The crew, Nickolay and Dmitriy, are very hardworking, careful, prompt, and helpful--and they surprised me in the best possible way by finishing the project early! During the project, the crew discovered some dry rot under the existing siding and took care of it with a very reasonable time-and-expenses fee (this approach was made clear to me early on). In addition, they solved some other problems I wasn't even aware of: repaired some window frames that had been installed incorrectly (wish I had used A Cut Above for that project!); added some 2x4s to the inside walls of the shed to make it more stable; replaced two of the posts on my front porch; and repaired an outdoor electrical outlet, among other items. I am so grateful that Josh, Nickolay, and Dmitri really treated my home as though it were their own! A Cut Above Exteriors came highly recommended to me, and I certainly see why. It's my understanding that--from the owner on down--integrity, honesty, knowledge, skill, and kindness are core values for everyone on staff. You will not be sorry if you hire this company.

We hired A Cut Above to replace the siding on the front of our house. The entire process went smoothly, from the initial quoting process, to the final walk through. Our project manager Sam was professional, helpful, and responsive when we had questions. The final walk through was thorough, and everything was taken care of. The crew who did the work, Nick & Dmitriy, completed the work faster than anticipated. They put in long days of work and we appreciate them for it. The final product looks great and looks to be done right. I would use A Cut Above again and would recommend them to my friends.

Our experience with A Cut Above Exteriors was excellent. Jamie presented us options for both the exterior work we had in mind and window replacements. He was 100% responsive but applied no salesman-type pressure. He also made himself available on a Saturday morning at the window showroom to accommodate our schedule, which I deeply appreciate. Later Sam came to our house to manage the repair and replacement of exterior siding, trim, barge boards, and porch skirt. He was proactive, knowledgeable and accessible. He was careful to explain any cost implications related to adjustments requested by me so I would be fully informed. His crew included Nick and Dmitriy who were very hard-working, conscientious, and did an outstanding job using top quality materials. They were also courteous and thoughtful about clean-up, etc. I pointed out one trim detail I wanted done differently as the project was under way and the team responded immediately and the change was in place within a day. I feel the pricing was quite fair. They will be the company I call on in the future for any exterior work to our hundred-year-old NE Portland craftsman. A Cut Above sells Renewal By Andersen windows. It was helpful to have Sam, the A Cut Above project manager, coordinate that installation. But the installation crew was from RbA so I will provide a separate review of them.

The job they did on our siding and paint was great! Very professional and thorough. They set the expectations and followed through. They also kept the job site clean. Sam, Andrey and Vlad were a pleasure to work with. I'd highly recommend them!

A Cut Above Exteriors does phenomenal work! They removed cedar shingles on my home and replaced them with Hardie planks. I am thrilled with how it turned out! The entire team at A Cut Above Exteriors has been delightful to work with every step of the way. They clearly care about the quality of their work and do top notch work! With Josh developing the plan and Randy overseeing the project, we were in good hands! They are incredibly knowledgeable, responsive and easy to work with! Juan and Martine did an amazing job with the siding installation, working meticulously on every detail every day until the job was done. They then painted the house, and Vlad and his team were the best I have ever worked with! Sergy replaced a number of screens and they look fantastic! Every member of the team at A Cut Above Exteriors exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

The crew from "A Cut Above" is excellent. Work started promptly on the scheduled time and siding was removed in a few hours. The crew found a fair amount of rot on the old sheathing and framing (house is 25 years old). The problem areas of sheathing and framing were expertly removed and repaired. All rot repairs were completed and the new house wrap was installed & windows flashed by the end of day 1. On day Day 2, trim was installed and 90% siding went up. Early on Day 3 siding was finished, caulked, and beautiful. In addition to the repairs and siding replacement, flashing improvements were made to eliminate the water intrusion we had for years. Excellent job- I'm very happy!

I started by calling ACA for an estimate on replacing my siding on the house. I spoke with Erica on the phone to schedule a time for a quote. Erica was very professional and polite. Erica followed up on everything to make sure that I was being taken care. Erica is very friendly on the phone and puts you at ease, she helps you to feel comfortable and by the end of my call I knew I had called the right company. Erica put me in contact with Josh who came out to give me the quote. Josh is super knowledgeable and offered me a lot of different options to choose from. Josh was always on time for his appointments with me and very friendly. When I decided to accept the quote I was assigned Randy as the project manager. I cant say enough about Randy! he made sure that my job stayed on time and kept up to date on everything that was going on. Randy was very helpful when we found out that we needed to replace a few things under the old siding and he made sure that they were completed 100% for me. Randy followed through on everything for our job, He was always on time and was very professional and friendly. The 2 gentleman who did the work for me here were the best I have seen. Anatolly and Dmitriy are awesome!! they were so professional and friendly everyday they were here working. They both worked very hard to protect all of the flowers and bushes around the house trying to ensure there was not damage done to them. The work they did here was stellar!! my house looks great!! I have had so many compliments on the work they did here at the house that I have given out ACA number to several of my neighbors. They always made sure that everything was cleaned up and safe at the end of the day. Both of them worked very hard and were always on time everyday. I truly appreciate all of their hard work!! When the job was completed Randy came back and we did a final walk through on the job, Randy wanted to make sure that I was happy with everything and that there wasn't anything I wanted to have changed or repaired. I told Randy it was perfect and let him know just how happy I was with all of them starting with Erica, Josh, Randy, Anatolly and Dmitriy. A Cut Above Exteriors were incredibly easy to work with and exceeded expectations. Every step of the process was explained thoroughly so we knew what to expect and when. Bill did a great job working with us to put our quote together, including everything we asked for, explaining why would should cut out or add certain details, and explained how the actual work would happen. Sam was an amazing project manager. During our initial walk-around he went over every aspect of the project to make sure we were all on the same page. Nick and Ruslan did amazing work in getting the old siding off and new siding on. They dealt very well with a couple surprises once the house was open and showed us the damage, discussed the fix, and called us outside again to see the finished fix before installing the siding over it. The electrical, plumbing, and painters that they use were also amazing. We had our final walk-around the other day and Sam made that easy as well. Our house is beautiful, we know the bones of the house are safe, and we would recommend A Cut Above Exteriors to anyone who needs work done.

The attention to detail during the initial sales consultations with Mani diligently explaining and breaking down the cost of each section of the work scope was the reason why we chose A Cut Above Exteriors above other competitors. Once the project started, Sam our project manager was thorough and attentive to our questions and concerns. He also kept us informed of all changes or additions that needed to be addressed when surprises did pop-up on-site. The crew Nick and Ruslan worked efficiently and cleaned up the site every day. They went above and beyond our expectations and got the project completed ahead of schedule. The painting crew also were super-efficient and got our whole house pained in one day.
