 + -1 moreOne was installed and works fine. The other didn't work when the installer tested it before actually installing it. The installer sent it back to 3-Day blinds. That was mid September 2016. It's now December 2. We have not gotten the second blind and we were told earlier this week that 3-Day doesn't think it has even been started. This is totally unacceptable!

 + -1 moreThis company was an absolute nightmare to work with from beginning to end. It has been a headache that has been going on 3 years. If I had known how many days I would have to stay home from work and the hours I'd have to spend on the phone dealing with them I would have gone with another company. They were very difficult to communicate with and our blinds took forever to get installed. The worst part is that we are still having issues with them. Just a few weeks ago another set of blinds they installed came crashing out of the ceiling. Note they installed massive roller shades with big heavy cassettes to hold them up. This is the third time this is happened. We are lucky that no one has been injured in one of these instances. And now it has been weeks of trying to get someone in to repair the blinds. We are tempted to have the blinds taken down and to go with another company.

Description of Work: I had special drapes made for my two living room windows. My ceilings were 14ft so I had to special order. It was to take 6-8 weeks but ended taking over 10 months. They said they delivered the drapes and someone signed for them which the said they had no reason for concern. I lived in Bldg B and they were delivered to Bldg C and we could not make out who the person was that signed for them. 3 day Blinds himed and hawed for days trying to decide what to do however in the end they reordered the drapes and they were personally delivered to me about 3 months later. By that time I was so disappointed that I couldn't even enjoy the drapes for weeks. I really could have used them when the drapes were first delivered in Bldg C. I found it apaulling that someone who was part of my condo association would actually steal the blinds. I did eventually like the blinds and appreciate the fine job the company did.

 + -1 moreinitial consultation is solid: they come to your home, take you through samples / swatches, take measurements. Follow-up was a quote based on our discussion. the salesperson was responsive and worked through some changes we asked her to make. Issues started for us once the order was placed. First, we had issues with installation due to someone taking the wrong address and the blinds not arriving. installation was changed, causing us to have to miss work twice to be here for home install. We were compensated for this inconvenience, after talking with 3-4 people and really pushing for a discount. the major issue came weeks later, when the sales person followed up to say that the blinds we ordered were being discontinued (we had left 1-2 rooms undone based on budget) and if we wanted more we had 24 hours to get an order in. this was (and is) extremely frustrating for us because the information was never given to us during the process. in fact, we were sold these particular blinds because they were a 'best seller with plenty of stock'. the worst part of our experience has been the customer service. nobody has taken responsibility for the lack of information and at this point i cannot event get a response to my emails. i think the important part for 3 day blinds is the initial sale, once that's over you are left twisting in the wind. i would not recommend working with this company, there are lots of good blinds installers in the area, save yourself the time and energy!

 + -1 moreBeginning with the interior designer Nancy and ending with the installation crew, this was a great experience. Nancy took lots of time showing me a variety of options available and gave me the price for each option so I could make a truly informed decision. Her attention to detail was amazing, and I ended up finding solutions to problems that I had previously thought were unsolvable. I ordered bi directional cellular blinds for several rooms as well as custom made room darkening roman shades for the master bedroom and they are beautiful as well as functional. I am truly impressed!
