Great service, and their bid was very competitive. After we signed up but before the app was approved by the Energy Trust, they reduced the support level, but Sunwize called and and lowered their bid to compensate for most of the reduction. System is performing very well, and in April and May of this year we produced more kW than we used.
Description of Work: Installed 16 panels on our house.

We signed up at the county fair for a visit from Sunwize to get estimate for the cost of solar panels. Matt arrived and explained the cost and benefits and the time line for installation and hook up to PP&L. Everything went absolutely perfect and now we're providing about 1/3 of our power. Everyone at Sunwize were so professional and pleasant it was a pleasure having them do the job.
Description of Work: Managed the install of solar panels on roof of house and meters and electrical in garage. and boy were we impressed.

Excellent. I was at a 'Green' Home Show in Salem earlier this year. There were two booths offering solar installations; the first person I spoke to (I think his name was James Reismiller) represented Abundant Solar of Corvallis. He handed me a couple of brochures in a rather bored way and told me to get in touch with him when I made a decision. The SunWize booth was staffed by two women, both of whom were personable, interested and helpful, took my 'phone number and called promptly to make an appointment for their representative to inspect my house. You can see why I went with SunWize! I had tried contacting two other firms - one installer was very well qualified but evidently very busy as I couldn't get any replies unless I harrassed him repeatedly. The other company was one of those 'sign this tonight or you won't get the good price' outfits - the man who called, after it got dark, never even bothered to inspect the situation of my house. His price was about the same - $12,000+ - but I shredded the paperwork almost immediately as I definitely didn't want to deal with his company.
Description of Work: Initial surveys to check that my roof was suitable and received the optimum amount of sunlight to make the system viable; then the panels and hardware were delivered and installed. After which I waited for the State to approve the installation and PGE to change the meter.
