+ -1 moreThey had to dig up my front yard again with a backhoe to a depth of at least 7 feet. At the bottom of the hole they discovered a broken pipe with the cleanout pipe attached to it. Rob said "our backhoe driver must have bumped it when he backfilled" on the initial job (which cost me over $10,000.00). Since Rob had said there would be no charge if it was their error, I did not expect a bill. I was wrong. A bill arrived for $1289.99. I wrote to them and called requesting that Rob call me to discuss his original statement and the fact he was not adhering to it. No one (including Rob) has contacted me and I have since received several bills with a $5.00 finance charge added each month. Every month I send the bill back with a statement that I am disputing the charges and why. Some months I also call and request that Rob call me. I have been totally ignored. This company is not honest or professional and I would highly suggest you not use them.
Description of Work: After having a new sewer line installed by Rob Merriman Plumbing (our entire block had new lines installed for a total cost of over $40,000.00) my plumbing was still backing up. I called and talked to Rob about having them fix the line (they had snaked it once and charged me for that after the new line was installed, but that is a separate issue) and wanted to make sure they would not charge me if it was due to their insufficiencies. Rob assured me "if it is due to something we did, I will not charge you".
