+ -1 moreHe was very responsive and easy to work with, and his prices are very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the work. If we ever have any additional custom woodwork to do in the house, we will call Andrew first.
Description of Work: Andrew's work is the highlight of our new house. He was great to work with, and he did a fantastic job translating drawings into super-cool cabinets and woodwork. Andrew did our kitchen and living room cabinets, a bar, an island, a crazy office desk, and cabinets for two bathrooms. His work is all over our house. Given that we have a clean, modern design, the cabinet work becomes the focal point. Andrew paid very close attention to the details to make sure that everything looked and functioned perfectly.

+ -1 moreTerrible Experience. Andrew was paid 50% down and had to be called multiple times to get the status on the installation. He missed all the deadlines and refused to return calls or respond regarding a refund. I tried to meet with Andrew to resolve the issue and finally emailed my wife and agreed to refund our money within 30 days. I'm filing claims with BBB and the State of Oregon so that others will not have the same poor experience of working with fraudulant business owners. I recommend that Angie's List drop this vendor from their website.
Description of Work: Andrew Prather, WoodWorks, Inc, CCB#175829 accepted a job to build 2 custom cabinets in October and committed to an install within 6 weeks. The actual services never happened.

Description of Work: Built and installed maple cabinets for kitchen, laundry room & master bath. Used design from an interior designer. Later learned this company also does design work. Should have chosen WoodWorks, Inc. to do original design for kitchen remodel. Cabinets in laundry room and bath were designed by WoodWorks, Inc.

+ -1 moreIt looks great, and the price was competitive. They are a small business. There were two parts to the installation. They requested to postpone the general installation, but I told them that I had other contractors lined up based on this work. So they did end up coming for the work on the day and time that was set up. When they were supposed to come for the second part of the installation (about a week later), they canceled on that day. This was inconvenient because I had another man scheduled to come that was dependent on this work. I called twice to confirm this time and date for the second installation. The office person that I spoke with on the phone got a little defensive with me about this issue. However, they did end up coming out the next day to finish the job and did a great job. I probably would use them again in the future because the work ended up being beautiful. I would recommend them to others, but I would caution them about being flexible with installment times before using them.
Description of Work: They did a bathroom vanity for us. This included solid wood cabinetry.
