Description of Work: one of our wells was failing and they were able to blow it out and salvage the well- they were fair, honest & would be who I called first in the event I needed service again.

The man who came was very punctual and courteous. He explained everything that he was doing and appeared very knowledgeable about what he was doing. I also felt the cost for the service was very good for the value of what I received. He was able to provide me with lots of valuable information about my new well.
Description of Work: The provider performed well testing on a house I was in the process of buying.

I called Skyles Drilling on Friday morning and explained that I had been trying for several months to get someone out to cover what I thought was a cistern. I explained we had a 2 year old and I was concerned for his safety. Marvin came out within an hour and assessed our situation- he determined we had a hand dug well and recommended a steel cover, and he recommended he cover it with plywood in the meantime. He called back with an estimate within a few hours. Monday morning (2 days later) he arrived to cover it. I was very grateful for the quick and effective response, and his recognition of the danger to our family.
Description of Work: An old well was covered with a steel cover, and they hauled away the old rotting wood cover.

Well flow test performed. Coliform testing was contaminated by laboratory (Alexin) used by Skyles. Re-testing required, but specified use of different laboratory. Skyles charged for the additional sample to be collected even though it was their and their lab's fault. Comprehensive testing was to be completed within 14 days. Results took 20 days to be completed and we were not notified until day 23. This was testing of a well in connection with a purchase of a house. Time was of the essence. Skyles and their lab Alexin didn't seem to care nor did they attempt any adjustment in charges. Stay away from them!
Description of Work: Contracted to perform well flow test, nitrate test, coliform test, comprehensive well water testing.
