NORTHWEST CARPET CARE

Bought this company's Sharing Spree deal for carpet cleaning. I have gone through their process for scheduling an appointment 3 times since November, gotten 3 automated emails stating someone would call me to confirm and I have never heard from them. No call, no email. And of course now that Sharing Spree is having financial issues and has shut down their site, I have no way to get my money back.

I prepaid for services with NW Carpet Care and they never showed up. The first appoint they never showed up and two hours past their arrival time they sent me a text stating their truck broke and would have to reschedule (so they had my cell # but wouldn't bother to even call me.) It took me a week of calling and leaving messages before I was able to reschedule. On the second appointment, again they didn't show up and I could not reach anyone by phone. I had my house all torn apart ready for them (for the second time) and they were a no show again. I sent text messages, left phone messages and still I heard nothing from them that day. The owner sent me a text message several days later stating he had no idea why they didn't show up. I requested a refund and would never recommend this company to anyone - EVER!

They are really good. He is locally owned and it’s a small company. He came in along with his sons. They really did a fantastic job and it turned out really good. We had some smells from our dogs and they spotted it first and cleaned it really good. They even moved furniture which surprised me. They moved our 9 foot sectional that weighed 100 pounds or more. I think it didn’t take them more than 5 or 6 hours. They did a really fast and good job. Both his sons were very polite, which is something that you don’t see in a lot of kids now days. I’d recommend them to anybody. I will definitely use them again in the future and in fact, I am going to.

Came while I was in shower, had called ahead to say they will be coming early ahead of appointment time. I had to tell my mother the directions I wanted them to perform. Work was done really fast within 15 minutes. But they did not clean all the places I wanted them to clean. Ignored under the couches and behind another couch. I did not have the room to move the couches. When I returned home (I had left for a few hours after the cleansing to allow carpet to dry) I noticed they didn't clean very well, cat urine stains and smell was still present but less severe.

Gave me an estimate of $250 over the phone. I know the exact square footage of carpet which I gave them. When they got here, charged me $690! I called while they were here based on THEIR OWN MEASUREMENTS, and they again quoted me $250. It is a bait and switch operation.

The carpets are much cleaner than before the cleaning. I was expecting the carpet to be cleaner given the extra cost of the pre-treatment which seemed high, but overall they did a good job. I think the crew that cleaned this house was good, although reading other evaluations, they may have less qualified teams.

Carpets were burnt by technician using too much chemical. When contacted NW Carpet Care told us they would refund $100 and come fix the problem. Problem is not fixed, refund was not received. When trying to resolve with manager he threatened to post our checking account information on the internet and became very angry and aggressive. NW Carpet care has refused to work with us at all on this. Our carpets our ruined, we've been threatened and verbally assaulted. I do not recommend NW Carpet Care and will NEVER use them again.

Bill did a wonderful job and I would call this company again.

MADE APPOINTMENT ON 11/26/05, FOR 11/28/05 BETWEEN 3:30PM AND 4:30PM MONDAY AFTERNOON. RECEIVED CALL FROM OFFICE @ 3:45PM THAT THEY WOULD BE HERE IN 30-40 MINUTES, WORKERS WHERE FINISHING UP AT ANOTHER SPOT CLOSE TO MY HOUSE AND WOULD BE OVER SOON. AT 5:15 RECEIVED CALL THAT THEY WHERE RUNNING LATE AND IT WOULD BE ANOTHER 45 MINUTES, CLOSER TO 6:15PM BEFORE THEY GOT HERE. I INFORMED THE CALLER THAT I WAS NO LONGER INTERESTED IN THE SERVICE, BECAUSE THE COUPON STATED INTEGRITY & QUALITY SERVICE, WHICH I WAS NOT GETTING AT THIS TIME.

NORTHWEST CARPET CLEANERS TOLD US BEFORE HAND THAT THE STAINS WERE VERY BAD AND ALL MAY NOT COME OUT, WHICH WAS POLITE. THEY WERE ON TIME AND PROFESSIONAL.

I HAVE HAD BETTER. I GET IT CLEANED EVERY YEAR, AND I WAS NOT THRILLED WITH THEM. IT WAS THE FIRST TIME I USED THIS COMPANY. THEY DID NOT DO BEHIND ANY OF THE FURNITURE. THEY WERE NOT VERY THOROUGH. THE DEMEANOR WAS NOT PROFESSIONAL, WHEN THEY CAME IN.

THE CARPETS DIDN'T COME OUT AS CLEAN AS I LIKED. THEY DIDN'T SPEND A LOT OF TIME TRYING. THEY WERE GETTING PAID ON THE JOB, SO HE DIDN'T SPEND AS MUCH TIME AS HE SHOULD HAVE, DOING THE JOB. THEIR PROFESSIONALISM WAS FINE.

NORTHWEST CARPET CARE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. THE TECHNICIAN THAT CAME OUT TO MY HOUSE WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND DID A FANTASTIC JOB! MY CARPETS LOOKED LIKE NEW AGAIN.

HECK, I COULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB WITH MY OWN STEAM CLEANER AND A BOTTLE OF RESOLVE FOR A LOT CHEAPER. STAINS WERE STILL VERY VISIBLE ON OUR CARPET AND HE DIDN'T EVEN MOVE THE COUCH, LIKE HE SAID HE WOULD. NEVER AGAIN, AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
