Description of Work: The Hopps family has been in the upholstery business since the 1920's. I think this is 4th generation. I had my first work done by them in about 1968 (red metal flake motorcycle seat-great for the 60's). The work was exceptional then and it is exception now. We recently had 3 bar stools re-upholstered and they look brand new. The job was professional, it took exactly as long as they said it would (two weeks), and the price was fair. Would not hesitate to return, infact, will need to return, as a leather seat in my car has a puncture hole.

 + -1 moreThe cost was reasonable. It was an antic, subdued floral printed fabric. They were very nice to work with. I took their sample book back and forth till I made a decision. I didn t have enough space to hold the couch in during the remodeling of my house, so they let me drop it off with until when I was ready to get it back. The whole product was finished in 6 weeks and half of it they were just waiting for the fabric, so it was a speedy and good job done. They were easy to work with and they were helpful. They also helped me deliver it which was real nice.
Description of Work: We had our couch re-upholstered. It was a very large 3 piece couch.

 + -1 moreIt was very expensive. Slightly less the the entire chair new. The end result was fine but the service or lack there of was disappointing to say the least. I took it in to be repaired December 19, and they said with the holidays it would take 10-14 days. I mentioned that if it took the full two weeks I would be out of town but to call when it was done and my daughter would pick it up. I then paid for it. I got back into town 6 weeks later, and my daughter mentioned she had not heard from them. So I went down to the store only to find they had not EVEN started on it yet. They were not the least apologetic about it either. They just said oh well we can have it done on a few days, just come back then. I came back and finally got it, but again they were abrupt and far from service oriented. I will not shop there again.
Description of Work: I took in a damaged couch cushion and wanted it repaired. Discovered it was beyond repair so they made another one from scratch.

 + -1 moreI was trying to get our house on the market and needed the play structure roof to be replaced quickly. The people at Hoop's were so friendly and helpful and amazed me by calling the next morning to say my job was complete and ready for pick up. The play structure looks beautiful with it's new roof.

 + -1 moreIT WAS GREAT. I HAD TONS OF SAMPLES TO LOOK THROUGH, AND THEY SUGGESTED THINGS TO ME THAT WOULD BE IN THE PERIOD, NOT JUST TO RECOVER IT, BUT SOMETHING THAT WOULD FIT IN THE PERIOD. THEIR WORK WAS EXCELLENT, AND THEY WERE ACCURATE ON HOW LONG IT WOULD BE BEFORE I GOT MY CHAIR. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY.
Description of Work: THEY PUT IN NEW PADDING. IT'S AN ANTIQUE CHAIR, A RAILROAD CHAIR. THEY RE-UPHOLSTERED IT, AND IT LOOKS NEW. IT LOOKS GREAT.

 + -1 moreTHIS COMPANY HAS BEEN WELL ESTABLISHED IN OREGON CITY FOR YEARS. THEY HAD AN ABUNDANCE OF FABRIC CATALOGS FROM WHICH TO CHOOSE, OR THEY WILL TRY AND MATCH A FABRIC BROUGHT IN BY A CUSTOMER. THE QUALITY OF THE WORK WAS EXCEPTIONAL, HOWEVER, IT TOOK OVER EIGHT WEEKS FOR THE WORK TO BE COMPLETED, BUT, IT WAS WORTH IT.
Description of Work: REMOVE FABRIC ON NINE FOOT COUCH, ORDERED NEW FABRIC, RECOVERED AND FINISHED. RETIGHTEN FRAME IF NEEDED.
