Description of Work: Routine maintenance and inspection of heating system performed at the time agreed and to the scope expected in the big deal. This was my first big deal and I had wondered if they generally were just entries leading to high-pressure upsell. That was definitely not the case here. Recommendations of things to look for and to plan for in the future were made and appreciated, but there was no push to increase the scope at the time of service.

+ 0 moreShowed up 20 minutes late without calling; fortunately it didn't take long so I still was able to make my other commitments afterwards. Nathan explained what he was going to do -- after I asked him to -- and then quickly did so. He pointed out a hole in my heat exchanger and explained the different options to replace the whole unit.
Description of Work: Inspected the furnace, replaced filter, cleaned blower. Pointed out issues. Recommended replacement.

+ -1 moreNathan showed up on time with the tools needed to do the job. He kept me updated on his progress, completed the job, and cleaned up the area in less time than I'd expected. He even made suggestions on how to best remodel the basement to make efficient use of the space. I would definitely hire Habitat again to help me fix up my home.
Description of Work: I bought a new house with an unfinished basement and an awkwardly placed washer/dryer hook up. Habitat remodeled my basement and moved my washer/dryer hook up, ran a new gas line for the gas dryer, built a wall, and moved the furnace/updated the duct work.

+ 1 morei have wanted to get rid of the old laminate counter top in a bathroom so the project started with looking at granite. We talked to Nathan, the owner of Habitat, about the project. He directed us to a showroom where we selected some of the products we wanted. I choose the tile and the bathtub from another source. He did everything from there except the painting. We did that ourselves. The project was finished on time and looks great.
Description of Work: Habitat has maintained our heating and cooling for the past year and now had just completed a bathroom remodel for us, complete with new cabinets, granite counter top and tile. All the work was done on time and at a good price. This company is new and is out to win your business with good service and good bargains.
