Description of Work: I will use this company for all my heating and Air Conditioning needs. The service men really know what they are doing and the service is prompt.

Description of Work: Great service as usual. My service guy (I'm sorry I forgot his name!) was professional and nice. He pointed out a furnace part that was working, but not optimally and could potentially fail, which I chose to replace after he quoted me a price. I will use them again next year for the checkup.

Description of Work: Replaced oil heating and hot water with gas system. The installation was completed on time and at cost. Everything went very smoothly.

Description of Work: I purchased a deal online, they responded quickly to schedule the appointment. The technician was over two hours late for the first appointment (which can happen). I requested that they reschedule, which they did politely and professionally. The technician arrived on time, was professional, and polite. Work got done quickly and appropriately. I was a little surprised to receive a bill for a prepaid service, which required an additional phone call to clear up, but again very polite and professional, I don't think it was deliberate but had I not been paying attention I might have paid double! Just a little frustrating with the missed appointment and extra billing.

Description of Work: The cost of their product was pretty competitive with the other providers I checked with. The reasons I went with First Call was because they not only had the Unit I wanted in the size I wanted it in but the sales representative was very well prepared with not only a demo unit but an excellent presentation. At the time I placed the order, I was eligible for a sizeable rebate from the PUD. The salesman informed me at the time of placing my order that his office would take care of submitting all the paperwork for the rebate. However, someone in the office must have dropped the ball submitting my paperwork for the rebate. After a reasonable amount of time passed I checked with the PUD to see what the ETA for the rebate check and learned instead that my paperwork was never submitted by First Call. Well after some back and forth the company said one way or another they [First Call] would be good for the amount of the rebate if indeed it was too late for me to receive it from the PUD. Needless to say, after some time, I did receive a check from First Call and a letter of apology. So I have to say that First Call is truly a company of integrity and at all times they were very courteous and respectful.

Description of Work: Installed new high efficiency Trane gas furnace and two stage heat pump in 35 year old 4000 sq. ft. home. We were very pleased with the entire purchase and installation process, and the reduction in utility costs has been just as satisfying.

Description of Work: First Call did an evaluation on the furnace in the home we just purchased. Their representative was on time, efficient, and honest about the condition of the furnace. The company took more than a week to respond to my Angie's List purchase, but once they were in contact with me, the experience was terrific.

Description of Work: I bought a $69 air conditioner tune-up deal through Angie's list, knowing that my elderly unit would probably need more than a tune-up. Sure enough, it needed recharging of the freon. The technician warned me that the unit was in its sunset years but might last another two or three years. He got it working well. The extra amount over the cost of the tune-up was for the freon. I have used First Call before and always found them honest, reliable, and punctual.

Description of Work: First Call was amazing. Their pricing was fair but how they stood out to me was in how they worked with me and treated me. From my initial call Steve Erickson worked incredibly hard to fit us in for a new AC/Furnace unit during their busy summer time workload. The technician came out 2 days later not weeks later and he worked efficiently and professionally. They also took care of another issue for us with our dryer ventilation. Both installs look fantastic and seem to work solid. I would highly recommend this team and I appreciate Angie's List for helping us find quality contractors in an area new to us.

Description of Work: I was referred to Tri County Temp Control by NW Natural when queried concerning having additional gas lines added to my home. Tri County quickly ascertained that my needs were not in their direct line of business and gave me a referral to All Pipe Systems (doesn't appear to be listed on Angie's List). All Pipe Systems was exactly what I was looking for, and I was quite satisfied with their work and prices. I'm very glad that Tri County was able to get me the right people for the job.

Description of Work: I purchased the Deal for furnace and a/c maintenance and check and was contacted promptly for a service appointment. The hours of service were limited with no weekends. I get off of work at 3:30 pm but they could not allow a call past 5:00 and said the call could last longer. I needed to leave a key out for them to enter my home while I was working. I knew my furnace needed a filter change and gave the receptionist the model and she gave me the price of the filter to add to my charge. After the work was complete the service guy left a message on my cell that next time they would need to add a labor change to change the filter as it took him longer than he was paid but would let it slide this time. I asked how much more it would be and he said an hours charge rate. So I am unsure if I will use this company again.

Description of Work: Our furnace is in the garage and hasn't been serviced in years. I saw a coupon in Angie's List for $129 service call. They arrived on time (to the minute!). Did a great job, was fast and clean. He also gave me some useful advice about whether or not to have our airducts cleaned. The advice seemed honest and appropriate --- did not feel like I was getting scammed into ordering a service I might not need. I would definitely call them again in the future.
