+ 0 moreTodd responded promptly and did what appears to be a high-quality job replacing the fixture on our front porch light. I was particularly impressed by his diligence in getting the junction box done right. He had to install one because the old fixture was installed with a couple of knob-and-tube wires that weren't in a box. I was even more impressed when, after making sure the new fixture was level and plumb, he walked out to the sidewalk to make sure that the fixture actually appeared level and plumb. Nice touch. We'll be calling him again next year when we have a bigger job, replacing our service panel.

Description of Work: Upgraded my electric wiring and installed my new range. I don't know how much it cost- I'm just guessing it was around $ 1000. I learned about Todd from a coworker that always uses him, & I have used him ever since I have been using his service for about 8 years whenever I need an electrician.

The people who came were great and there were no problems. They were very professional and timely. It was pretty extensive electrical work.

+ -1 moreMy call was answered immediately and an appointment was made. The electricians showed up on time and performed the installation in a timely fashion. At the time the wiring was done, we did not have the hot tub yet. The electrician said to call them when the hot tub was in and they would come do the final wiring, however, it would cost an additional $75. I received word of when the hot tub would be delivered and called Eccles to schedule the final appointment. My call when to voicemail and I left a message. No one returned my call. I called an additional 2 times and left 2 more messages and no one returned my call. I finally had to find another electrician to come do the final install at the cost of $129.00. I would not recommend this electrician as communication was poor and promised follow through was not completed.

Description of Work: This year we completely remodeled a bathroom and our kitchen using RMJ Construction (see review done for their services), and RMJ used Eccles Electric as their subcontractor for the electrical portion. Thus, I noted N/A to the price, because I did not get multiple bids for the work, it was all set up through our general contractor. Eccles Electric did great work for us. They installed new lighting of multiple types, completely rewired for plugs and appliances, and wired a panel for heated floors in the bathroom. They worked with us on what type of lighting we would need and gave advice as to how many can lights and where would be good to place them, since we weren't sure what would be best for our kitchen. They completely assembled and leveled two hanging pendant lights above our peninsula which are on a sloped ceiling, and thus were hard to get level with their fixed rod pendants. They were good at communicating where plugs needed to go by law, and worked with us on placement within the bounds of the law. All work was done superbly. When following the work, we found an outside light was no longer getting power, they came back and fixed it with no charge. Also, my husband had found some inexpensive LED lighting strips online that we bought for under cabinet and over cabinet lighting that came in many parts and were kind of finicky to put together. Eccles Electric worked with my husband to figure out how to install, and took the extra time that they hadn't planned on that was needed to get them installed. Eccles Electric was great about asking us for our preferences on things if there was an option at hand, and worked with us to end up with great lighting. We will definitely use Eccles Electric again for any electrical needs that may arise.

+ -1 moreI wouldn't use them again. It wasn't a bad experience; it was a neutral experience. I wasn't impressed with the work. I wasn't disappointed but I would go with another company the next time. The only reason I used them was because the two companies I normally use were busy. I talked to the owner on the phone and his partner came out to do the bid and then a third guy came to do the work. That bothered me because I like the guy that comes out to actually be the guy that does the work. Usually they will tell me if they are sending somebody else out and they didn't, so I had to go through explaining everything all over again. They were right there with other companies that I usually use on price. They left a lot of stuff lying around. They were on time and called me back promptly. I would wait for one of the two guys I normally use in the future.
Description of Work: I used Eccles Electric to wire a new hot tub.

Description of Work: I had a couple of light fixtures that were not working, one low-voltage, the other a ceiling mounted regular light fixture. He figured out the problem and fixed them.
