The work on our big project started promptly on the promised date, and the crew members come on time every single day. The staff are hardworking and experienced. The owner also accomodated our requests for small design changes, and has been forthcoming. This company gave us the best quote, and their prices are very reasonable. We would definitely hire them again.

One of the most positive experiences with a contractor I have had. Ezra and his team were great. Replaced the deck and cover just as requested much quicker than I expected. Also replaced a damaged portion of our fence. Very easy to work with. I will use them again for any project I may have.

Although a late-winter storm caused a 4-day power failure here (and trees fell down on the homes of 2 members of the team) this job was still completed in a timely manner, A number of aspects of this 2-level deck were customized to my specifictions, and these were all done as requested--for a first-rate look overall. I am especially grateful to Jeff, who always remained calm and did much of the fine work (such as building a privacy screen from clear cedar that is much nicer than ready-made poducts). Clean-up was thorough, and the team even moved my deck furniture back into place (as well as many heavy containers)--all in exactly the right position thanks to photos taken by Jeff before demolition of the old deck. Overall, this is a 5-star rating that was well earned,

Ezra and his team did a fantastic job removing our old deck boards and replacing them with composite decking. It was a 16'X36' deck. The team arrived on time each day and were very conscious of what we wanted. The project was finished in the time estimated at a very fair price. We will definitely use this company for any future projects.

This company worked with us on getting our deck done exactly like we wanted it. And they were easy to work with.

Jeffery was the one who was very conscientious, he laboured long to make sure the job was done correctly . His work ethic was appreciated . It was labour intensive job removing bricks and putting down more sand levelling the base then replacing the bricks. Great job!

Ezra and Coolvig Enterprises are all about people and project integrity. They under promise and over deliver even if it cost them money. They built a great hot tub (big) deck for us. As an architect I appreciate their attention to structure. They overbuilt everything so regardless of where we place our spa there will be absolutely no settlement. Our spa will remain level for years to come. I highly recommend Coolvig.

On time and on the job... Did exactly what he said he would do...

We had our deck replaced and the work was done exceptionally well with fast and efficient service. The weather was so cold but the workers prevailed and finished the job on time and we highly recommend Coolvig Enterprises. Ezra was great to work with and his construction crew is excellent. We couldn't be happier with our new deck.

I had multiple small jobs to be done. Bathroom mirrors to be hung, new bathroom exhaust fan, door handles/locks, and new doorbell just to name a few. Ezra and his crew were pro's from start to finish. From the estimate to completion was no more than a week.There was one small adjustment that needed doing and they came right out to fix. Everything was neat and clean when they left. I couldn't be happier and will definitely call them in the future when needed.

The workers were prompt, did an outstanding job, and work to do it just the way I wanted. When it was done, I was more than pleased. I'm showing it off to my neighbors. I would not hesitate to call them again. I cannot say enough good words about them.

We needed to get our old deck rebuilt - it was a sizable job, 1,000+ sq foot elevated deck, plus additional concrete slab pours. Out of the 6 quotes we got, Coolvig's was the lowest - by far. Ezra was polite and straight forward with the plans and his crew did an excellent job and finished the project in a timely fashion. They also constantly made sure we were happy with the results. We would absolutely use Coolvig again for our contracting needs.

Ezra came out to look at the job and we discussed what I was looking for. He quoted me a reasonable price and I hired him. His worker showed up on time and got to work. The new door hardware I ordered was missing a few screws so that delayed things a bit, but my low ratings have nothing to do with the time it took to complete the job. During the job, the contractor noticed he was missing some tools, so that delayed things a little bit, still not a big deal. The quality of their completed work left a lot to be desired. When they completed their work, the door handle only turned one way and they blamed the door manufacturer. In actuality, they installed the door knob wrong. The deadbolt wasn't installed securely either. The major issues were the replacement of a small section of the door jam, the alignment of the deadbolt latch with the door handle latch, the door handle face plate not sitting flush on the door, and the hole they drilled for the door handle strike plate was huge and cracked their replacement piece of the door jam. I spoke with Ezra the next day to voice my concerns and he said I needed a new door and door jam. Never once while he was out working on the project did he mention this or bring it to my attention. I decided to try and fix things myself. After working on the repairs, I sent this to Extra, "So I spent about an hour working on my front door yesterday. I took the door handle off and pulled the latch out. I chiseled out the latch plate area so it now sits flush. My door knob actually turns both directions after I put it on correctly. That piece of wood your guy replaced... I thought the original plan was to replace that one whole piece, he just replaced one small section. The whole you guys drilled/chiseled out for the strike is way too big. Made it almost impossible to adjust the strike plate to the correct location. I was able to adjust the strike plate which now lines up with deadbolt so there's no play in the door. The deadbolt was not secure when you left. I had to take it off, reset the rubber gasket and re-secure it. All in all you guys did a very poor job. I know the hardware I bought was missing some screws, and I'm not upset about the time it took. But you didn't have the drill bit to install the deadbolt either. I felt bad that it took you guys too long, but you guys left me an ugly incomplete installation. When we talked and I asked if you could come out to fix it, you said I needed a new door and new door frame. Not once when you came out to bid on my job did you make that claim. You said you could handle my request and made it sound like an easy job and I haven't heard anything back. All parts of my door work a lot better now, but the deadbolt still needs a little work. I will not hire this contractor in the future and I can not recommended his work see to the poor quality and lack of follow up.
