+ -1 moreWas totally ripped off on gas. Dealer charged an additional 8 gallons in spite of my leaving tank fuller than received. Left gas receipt as proof. Dealer refuses to make adjustment despite several attempts. They are saying it took 20.4 gallons to travel 77 miles mostly on freeway.

Description of Work: Rented a wood chipper from them. Very good machine -- we had lots of branches to chip, many a year or more old (and so very dry and hard). The machine handled them all very well. Their rental rates are good -- they only rent lawn and garden types of equilment (i.e., no power tools for instance). People are nice to work with. We have done business with them since 1977 -- bought chain saws, lawn mowers, brush cutters. They know their stuff and are nice people. And answer any questions you have.

lawn mower repair
+ -1 moreWell, it was okay. I specified that one of the problems I noticed was the tire was flat. When we got it back, it went flat again the next day. I called, they had someone come out to get the tire/wheel. When they brought it back to me, they charged me more, including for the trip. I got on the phone with them and got most of it reduced since I had already paid for them to repair the flat. My rear bagger just fell off the other day. I can't tell if somehow the pins were missing, were not reinstalled, they just fell off on their own, or what, but they were not to be found. This shouldn't have happened this soon after having it checked over. Accessibility to their store is difficult because of it's location. Trying to position my trailer when I brought the mower there was difficult. They had quite a back log of work. It took a long time for them to get to the mower.
Description of Work: We purchased a used riding lawn mower through a private party in Craigslist and had them check it over and repair anything that was not correct.
