Anderson Heating & Cooling

Our AC unit wasn't cooling and we thought it needed either a coolant recharge or a major repair. Bought the Spring tune-up special through Angie's list for $69.00. Had a company technician shortly after that. Brad told us we just needed a thermostat wiring repair which costed just $40.00. AC is running ice cold again. Very happy with the timely service, quick communication and quality of work.

It went well, and I was given very straightforward recommendations on the quite dated A/C unit at my new home. He threw a new filter in for only $6! I did ask, when setting up the appointment, to have the furnace looked at, as well, but that was not communicated to the tech and he didn't have time. He did advise me on best times to schedule such a tune-up, though, and that I'd be fine through the summer regardless.

They did really good here. I was supposed to get a hold them around the time they were supposed to come out but I was in the hospital. So when I got out I called them and said, You must have made a trip over here and I wasn't home. But I was in the hospital then so I explained that to her. She said they would make up another agenda date. They came out and did what they were supposed to do. I was rally satisfied with them.They came out when they said they were going to come out and the time too. I will probably use something like that with my air conditioner. They could either do one or the other, the heating or the cooling system. So I might have them come back a check out my air condition. That was $59.00. I could always call them and see if I can get the same deal.

The young man (Brad?) who performed the service was promptly on time, introduced himself, and got right to work on checking out our A/C. Afterwards, he explained the unit is running great, that we were halfway through the unit's life expectancy and then asked if he could check out our furnace, as a note from service performed in 2014 mentioned condensation dripping on the furnace. That checked out he then asked if I needed him to change the filter for me? I explained my husband had just changed it a couple of weeks ago. All in all, he was extremely through and exceeded what I expected. It's always a pleasure to have this kind of feeling once business is concluded. Anderson Heating & Cooling is a company I would never hesitate to call to service my HVAC system.

Tech called ahead and was ahead of scheduled time. Identified problem areas with my furnace and successfully replaced part. Furnace has been running great since.

I first contacted a well known company. They could not be out for 7 days and required credit card information before they would schedule. They offered no suggestions on what I could do as an emergency short term fix. I called Anderson's. The person who answered the phone was very kind and understanding and got me scheduled for 2 days out. She then had the tech call me immediately. Over the phone he gave me 2 suggestions that I could do until he was able to get here. Brad arrived on time. He was pleasant, friendly with my funny little dog, and most professional. He had to go get a part which took him additional driving time. He replaced the part and in addition did some extra work at no extra cost and would make my furnace function more efficiently.

Everything went fine. Technician was prompt and courteous. I booked the service call through Angie's List. This was quite reasonable. I would use this service provider again.

Fantastic! One evening we noticed a problem with the fan from our furnace. It was constantly blowing and not heating. I called Anderson's first thing in the morning and got a phone call back within a half hour of leaving a voicemail. They were able to come out that same day – diagnose the problem – ordered the part and fixed it the very next day. Completely professional people. They honored the $25 off a service call coupon from Angie's List. Brad was awesome! They didn't sell us anything unnecessary and fixed the problem. We will likely be needing a new furnace within a year and will definitely use Anderson heating and cooling. Highly recommend!

Brad did an outstanding job on this preventative maintenance. Other companies to do not clean out the drain of my high efficiency furnace, which was nearly clogged with dust and hair which had turned into mud. Had a clog occurred, it would have caused considerable damage. Brad is also highly knowledgeable about everything HVAC and gave me tips to keep my furnace running smooth, without upcharges or hard sell. The company Headquarters and owner also answers questions and concerns I had about my equipment. I will be a regular customer of this honest, diligent and customer-friendly company.

It was okay. My A/C was broken, so they didn't do the work. Disappointed that I had to pay full price for the tune-up, when they didn't actually perform the service.

Great! We called several places around Portland and they all said that they could have a tech come look at it quick, but it would be weeks before they could install. Anderson was able to come look at the problem and fix it all in the same day. It took about 4 hours for a completely new system. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

They would only schedule a month out if you bought a groupon so not a good service

The tech was very professional and knowledgeable. He noticed that the blower motor was taking a few seconds to get up to speed. He took some electrical measurements and said that its ok for now but it will continue to degrade. He gave me a ballpark figure of what to expect to replace it. I appreciated that and let him know that I will call them back in the spring to check out my a/c unit. I highly recommend Anderson heating and cooling.
