This was an Angie's Deal with the discounted price at 69.00 each (total of 138.00) The additional parts & labor was 160.00. Anderson Heating & Cooling were great, but in the end, it didn't seem like a "deal".

Description of Work: I purchased a $69 Big Deal for a furnace inspection, cleaning & tune-up. They seemed to do a thorough job and were friendly, but my thermostat is kind of acting weird now and I haven’t had time to reach out to them regarding this concern yet.

Description of Work: Furnace would not turn on and an emergency light and statement appeared on the thermostat. They came and replaced the inducer motor. In replacing it, they explained what had probably caused the problem, helped to see if we could get any kind of discount in replacement part as it appeared it was under a 10 yr warrantee. This was not the case, but we appreciated the work Anderson Heating did to speak with the Carrier representative. Then several days later there was another warning light and the furnace was not working. This time it appeared to be the Blower motor and module. Again, they explained the problem. Unfortunately if we had known the problems were going to be so extensive we would have opted for a whole new furnace. We were very pleased with the work, especially their willingness to come out the day before Christmas and right before New Years. We would recommend them and will use them again.

Description of Work: Woke up to furnace not working, went through Angie's list looking for a heating contractor who could cone look at furnace. Called a couple of places no answer. Spoke to Steve directly he was out in a little over an hour ( happened to be on a service call in the area)' he serviced furnace and was done within an hour! Great service would definitely recommend to others!

Description of Work: Steve Anderson replied promptly to my request for a quote to replace my old furnace. He said he had to be in the area working up some other quotes, and offered to come by on a Sunday afternoon. I was happy to get someone so quickly, and Steve came by right when he said he would. He was professional, kind and had a sense of humor (but not over the top!). He looked things over, and promised me a quote. I received his quote by email that evening! I wanted to work with Steve and his business, but because I had an American Home Shield Contract, it was just more practical and less trouble to deal with them and their preferred company. That is the only reason I did not hire Steve. I would recommend him highly though, and will call him again should the need arise.

Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal furnace Tune-Up and scheduled an appointment. The furnace technician arrived on time and went right to work. He found that the hot surface ignitor is showing some hot spots and could fail soon. We've ordered a spare just in case. He replaced our furnace filters with a set that he brought with him at no extra charge. He was very friendly and even performed a magic trick for my 5 year old son. I will definitely call them again if I need service on my furnace or central A/C.

Description of Work: I bought 2 deals for a furnace inspection and tuneup due to the fact it is a duplex. On the new unit the tech installed the filter upside down, and knew this by the thermostat had a warning light regarding this. The older unit was inspected but not cleaned because it smelled no different after starting it, plus the Carbon Monoxide detector went off as we started up the unit, and does so each time the unit starts! There was no indication of this on there report. I was not present at the inspections, and should have been, I had other appointments that day, so I left the tech alone, and he left a very brief inspection report.
