Old house was bulldozed in Sept 2008, before the financial meltdown, so we were comitted. New foundation was prepared, blocks laid, and subfloor completed in Dec. The wall framing started in January, with the trusses laid in March. Peter supervised the entire framing and laying of trusses. The roof was on in April, so the house was able to dry out, during the exterior sheeting process. Electrical, plumbing, sheetrock, & HVAC were all co-ordinated, and kept on schedule. I worked with Peter on the window design, and purchasing of the doors and widows, he was easy to work with, and provided good advice. A lot of the interior fixtures (bathroom, kitchen, and utilities) I purchased, so I liked the working relationship with Peter. He was flexible, tolerant, and was ready to offer advice, good or bad. House was finished in August 2009, which may seem long, but we are pleased with the quality, and attention to detail that Peter showed. Costs were about $112.00/sq ft, which was in Peter's budget, so his estimate was very accurate. Concerns and gripes were taken well by Peter, and we did not feel "put off" by him. We have maintained our relationship with Peter, since completion, as he likes to come visit his work.
