+ -1 moreit went very smoothly and didn't have to order the parts, they had the parts brought to my house in less than 30 minutes and installed and completed in less than 2 hours. very please i highly recommend Above Board Electric
Description of Work: I called them in the morning and they had a service man at my house within the hour and i have a house and the electrical is run on the 1939 fuses and switches. Well it stopped working, and me and my kids spent the night in a motel because we had zero power. Above Board put in a new up to date breaker box, and in less than 2 hours we had power! The price was lower than I expected, and I got an estimate on the cost to updated my 5 separate fuse boxes to just one panel box with breakers for an estimate of $1,500.00. it was a $1,000. cheaper than another electric co. said they would charge to put one in. I was very please with the price and have scheduled an appointment for Above Board to do the update. Very pleased with their service and price. I highly recommend them. Jenny toledo resident

+ -1 moreSuddenly this morning the electric baseboard heating in one room in the house was running and wouldn't quit, no matter where the thermostat was set. I call Above Board on a recommendation ... I explained the problem, etc. Scott said, "Are you going to be home today." "Gosh, sure." To my surprise he was there within the hour ... and 25 minutes later he left, all fixed (new thermostat). It wasn't that he wasn't busy - his phone was ringing off the hook while we were talking. Just surprisingly good service.
Description of Work: Installed a new thermostat for electric heating system.

+ -1 moreFirst impression - they didn't show up for the first two appointments, so I scratched them. After a recommendation I tried again, they showed up and I hired them. They showed a total lack of interest in the project, apparently had better things to do. I spent most of my time waiting for them to do something. They never accomplished anything on my project. I won't be working with them again.
Description of Work: Provided electrical contractor service for installation of a new wind turbine installation.
