Great job! Dependable and conscientious.

Caught 2 moles until now. First mole caught the first week of the contract. Second mole caught about a month later. Visit twice a week for 6 months. Trapper politely calls before each visit to let us know that he is coming for the trap inspection. Contract continues until February when we expect all moles are caught.

He comes twice a week , like clockwork, to check on current activity and the traps. I don't have to be here, which I love. He calls me on my cell phone to let me know what is happening and if he found anything in the traps. Excellent service. Excellent follow-up. I would highly recommend Alex and the Gopher Patrol to anyone! And I have.

After my initial phone contact with the proprietor, the worker in the area that includes my house contacted me, and we set up an appointment for him to come assess the situation and set some traps. Brad arrived on time and efficiently went about his work, setting three traps. We established a twice-a-week schedule for his visits. Between the first and second visit, the mole made an additional 3 or 4 mounds in the yard. When Brad returned, he set two more traps, and we saw no additional mole activity afterwards. On Brad's next visit, he found a mole in one of the traps. That apparently was the mole that had caused all of the damage. So far, we're quite happy with the company's work.

Gopher Patrol was responsive--returned my email the same day I made my initial inquiry, and later returned my phone calls very quickly. They explained their service--$150 for 6-months of return-as-needed service and $35 for each gopher trapped. Aaron arrived as scheduled, checked-out our property and assessed the numbers of animals he thought were living in our yard. He also explained that even after the present "residents" were removed, we might eventually have new ones move in from neighboring yards/fields. He coordinated with our yard-maintenance person to be sure the traps and gopher activity could be monitored between mowings. Trapping all 3 gophers took longer than Aaron estimated (I think 4 or 5 weeks instead of 2 or 3) but considering that we'd had gopher activity for at least 5+ years, I was thrilled to have them gone that quickly. So far, we haven't seen any new activity, but if we do I will certainly call Gopher Patrol, regardless if the pre-paid 6-months have passed or not. .

I had a very aggressive mole that was creating multiple mounds and elevated tunnels in my lawn. I tried to trap the mole myself without success. A rep from Gopher Patrol arrived as scheduled and analyzed the situation in my lawn. He set up multiple traps and told me he would return in two days to check the traps. He returned two days later and found a large, dead mole in one of the traps. I have been mole free since then but will definitely call Gopher Patrol again if moles decide to invade my lawn again.

Good, wish they caught him quicker, and wish it cost less than $130 for the first mole, but glad they got it.

We have acreage and had a few gopher/moles so we called the Gopher Patrol. March 11, 2011 two representatives (co-owners) came to evaluate our pest problem. We were told it wasn?t as bad as we thought?."probably not more than 6 gophers/moles." They explained the ?service contract? was a flat $150 for a year?s service, which was a ?guarantee? that they would continue to come back until there was no more activity. They also explained that there was an additional charge of $30 per gopher/mole. Admittedly it seemed a bit strange to pay $150 for them to come back. If there were rodents to trap, why wouldn?t they come back? We explained to them that we wanted to see the traps with the ?catch? when they checked their traps. That would mean they needed to make an appointment with us when they planned to check their traps. They agreed to this and proceeded to set their traps. The first invoice came 5-16-2011?7 gophers and 1 mole for a total of $270. Wow?they said we probably didn?t have more than 6, so we figured they must have got them all. The invoice listed 4 visits?none of which were scheduled. We did see one of the guys on a trap checking day and asked about seeing the traps. He pulled a dead gopher out of the back of the truck and told us this one he had gotten that day. It probably was, but we took this opportunity to remind him that we needed to know when they were checking traps. The Gopher Patrol trappers continued to set and check traps without scheduling appointments. We never knew when they were here. September 10th we happened to see the Gopher Patrol trapper. We tagged along while he checked the traps. ALL the traps were empty, yet 2 days later, the Gopher Patrol claimed to have caught 4 gophers. We did not know they were coming to check traps and did not accompany them when they checked the traps and catch the 4 gophers. September 17th, the Gopher Patrol showed up again without an appointment. We explained to them that it was obvious they could not provide the service we had agreed upon (i.e., make an appointment with us so we could check traps with them) and based on that fact, we would no longer need their service. October 6th, we received a final bill?14 gophers/moles! Wow! Remember?.they only thought we had 6? Over 6 months we paid $840 - $150 (service contract), $270 (7 gopher/moles) and another $420 (14 gophers/moles)! We are not implying that they are dishonest, but we are wary and were very disappointed that they refused to honor our request to make an appointment and allow us to check traps with them. We also made several attempts to discuss our frustration with the Gopher Patrol co-owner. These discussions ended in frustration for both parties.

It all went very well. I was not sure that Gopher Patrol would come to my location in Jefferson, OR because they are based in Newberg. I called and spoke with Alex, and he informed me that they now cover as far south as Corvallis, so I asked when he could come by and look in to my issue. He said he could be by in a couple of days, and sure enough he came by two days later at the time he had promised. He explained the pricing to me which was $150 for a year of service (just call if you see any new activity) and then $30 per gopher/mole. I signed up on the spot and Alex determined that I probably had two gophers and set two traps. He said he would be by Tuesday, but actually came by a day early and showed me that he had trapped two gophers (kind of like a big mouse trap). To be clear, this is not catch and release, the gophers do not survive, but it is a humane trap that kills them instantly. Alex did everything he said he would do when he said he would do it. I am very satisfied and will call him again if I see any new holes.

Great - the patrol team has done a great job for us.

The company provided me with a quote over the phone. They arrived the same day to set the traps and returned four days later to check the traps. The moles were caught and we currently have no mole activity. If there is more activity, I will certainly call them again.
