George and Gabe did a great job with this project. Gabe had great suggestions for our fencing needs and explained different options. He kept us informed about the installation schedule and was responsive to a change that we made from the original plan. Gabe even made an extra visit to meet with the sprinkler contractor to avoid any major issues. I would definitely hire again.

Everything went perfectly. He was on time and finished up when he said he would. Did a great job of cleaning up too. I have recommended him in the past to friends who were very happy with him. I won't use anyone else.

I and all three neighbors were very pleased - always a bit anxiety producing as I had been the one to choose this business, and a neighbor is a contractor. They were prompt in responding to emails, questions such as how we might deal with the pre-existing, and the date of the installation. They were respectful and polite on site and in emails. The final price was a small amount above the initial estimate, but that apparently was due to the cement bases, and very reasonable. One certainly needs that detail in Oregon. Two of the neighbors stated that they would gladly use George and Gabe to complete further fencing on their property.

Well worth the two-month wait. Estimate was lower than competitors and Gabe's proposal to save the existing arbors sealed the deal. This is a local small business with craftsmen who care about what they are doing. The fence is solid and looks great. I will definitely use them when ready to replace the final two sides of the fence.

Gabe came on time to look at my yard & gave me an estimate a few days later. I got them at their busy time, so they scheduled me about 6 weeks out, but they came on the day promised and put in the fence posts & built the fence & gates on the next business day. Gabe came out again on the day they put in the fence posts & went over my requirements again to make sure we were on the same page & then his Dad installed the fence posts. Very professional & nice quality on the fence. They added wheels to the back car gate so it wouldn't sag. Gabe knew that I wanted the fence partly to keep my pets in the yard, so he blocked off a section under the house so that they couldn't escape. I really appreciated that. The estimate price was what they charged me. Overall I was very pleased.

Gabe showed up on time and gave us an estimate and the installation date. The day before that date, he called again and informed us that they would be one day late and should arrive at ~0900 on that date. They did! The installation took 2 days as estimated. They definitely knew their business and things went very smoothly. All the details I asked for were included and the quality was excellent. Based on our experience, I am very pleased to recommend them.

Gabe came by within about a week to provide an estimate. Of the 3 estimates I got, Gabe's was the lowest by about $2000. Due to some recent wind storms, he had quite a bit of work queued up and had to schedule the work about 1 month out, which was fine with us. Gabe and his partner showed up at the scheduled date. At that time, I discussed some further refinements to the design, which Gabe was happy to accommodate with no change to the estimate. The work took about 5 days to complete, exactly as Gabe had estimated. They worked diligently throughout each day despite an almost constant downpour. The final fence was beautiful and exactly as I had requested, including my finicky request to make sure the slats of the pergola had exactly the same curvature on the ends as the one being replaced. I could not be happier with the quality of our new fence and the cost of the work. I highly recommend George and Gabe Professional Fencing & Decks.

We got three bids for our fence and the neighbors too. Of the three bids, George and Gabe were by far the lowest. And yet we were happy when we discussed the project with them: they were using prime cedar boards for the new fences, they were putting all the new pressure-treated posts in concrete and they promised to remove all of the old fencing. We also told them the neighbors were interested in getting their fencing replaced also and I was pleased Gabe took it upon himself to coordinate with them with bids and to collect the cost of only the portion of our mutual fencing when we shared a fence with a neighbor. As for the old hot tub, we live on a hill with many steps up to our house but we needed to get that old hot tub out because the deck was rotting beneath it. But true to his word, Gabe showed up with a butch of muscle help one day and the tub was finally gone. He and George (his father) did a very professional job of rebuilding the deck according to the specs we had agreed on, reinforced so we could have another hot tub there some day. Although it was the middle of winter, we were blessed with decent weather and so the project went off pretty much according to plan. I just let Gabe decide when he would work. Some days it was 1/2 a day, others a full day. Working with him is not for the person who wants to feel complete control of the project. But there was something about Gabe that made me trust him so I let him determine what was done when and we ended up with a beautiful fence and hot-tub-less part of the deck.

George and Gabe were amazing! They worked non-stop!. They were our fourth quote and we were impressed with Gabe's knowledge right away. He knew the type of fence that would be best for our neighborhood, what would also look best and how to make it last longer than the old one. George and Gabe are a Father and Son team and they worked very well together and got the job done fast, efficitent and with extreme high quality. Gabe also priced out all of the work by the side of fence (right side, back, etc.) with labor costs and material costs separated out. That allowed us to coordinate pay responsibility with our neighbors (that saved me a huge headache!). They completed all of the take down of the old fence and our old tiny deck on day 1 and put up the cedar fence, with good neighbor style in back, on day 2. Day 2 also included the build of the complete new gate. The fence was complete and looking amazing on day 2. I and my neighbors are so impressed. You can get other quotes for your fence repair/install, but take my advice and don't waste your time with other companies...just get in touch with George and Gabe first!

This is the best cost /linear foot that I've found from five Angie's List top scoring suppliers. The quality of work is exceptional. total work was performed in about six hours. They charge $1 per linear foot of tear down of the old fence and they haul it away. We have spread the word in our Lake Oswego neighborhood and they are already being tapped for more jobs.

It was quick, easy, painless. They were on time, professional and very quick at what they do. Then fence and gate are beautiful and sturdy.

The deck is a very nice and large deck along 90% of the rear of our home, and includes an outdoor kitchen area and is finished in Ipe wood. It is a very attractive feature on our home. Unfortunately, the large horizontal beams (away from the house) that support the deck were not pressure treated wood, and the installation included wrapping with a plastic flashing substitute. This was apparently done very poorly as the beams have all exhibited extensive rotting and we are now having to have the beams replaced. The cost for this remediation is going to be upwards of $40,000 due to the location of our home and having to lift new pressure treated beams over the house with a crane to complete the install. (There are some other complicating factors that are driving up the cost, like having to dissassemble two 40' rock support columns so we can access the locations where the beams are attached.) It is apparent the contractor tried to do the right thing by installing the plastic GRACE flashing substitute, but they should have used pressure treated beams to begin with, and allowed the beams to breath and drain any water that may have intruded. Instead, when water got behind the plastic flashing it had no way to leave and the result, in just seven years, was rot so extensive you could easily push a screw driver through a 6and quot; beam. I am happy we noticed the problem and decided to have the issue investigated, but we are deeply disappointed we are having to deal with such an issue on a fairly young house. Had we not noticed this, the chances of having the deck collapse were very real. Not recommended.

WE HAD THEM COME OUT AND GIVE US A BID ON A VERY LARGE FENCE. GABE WAS ONE TIME FOR ALL APPOINTMENTS AND COMPLETION OF PROJECT. GABE KEPT IN CONTACT WITH ME EVERY STEP OF THE WAY.

George and Gabe had a very competitive quote for a new fence in our yard, and they were available to start the work in the time frame we wanted. I liked how their quote itemized the different sections of the job (e.g. side fence, rear fence, gates). George kept in contact with us on the schedule and was timely with email responses to questions. Arrival on site was as planned, and after review of quote and some final clarifications, work proceeded. George and Gabe do their own work, so it took a couple days to get all the posts in for the amount of fence being installed. They were professional, easy to work with and focused on the job. They also asked clarifying questions as necessary. The only (slight) delay was due to limited supply of the appropriate lattice-work for the style of fence we were installing. So, it took a couple extra days before the work was completed. We liked the 2x6 framing they use on all fence gates for added strength. After the work was completed, we noticed a couple minor items with some unevenly cut boards, and lattice-work. Both of these items were quickly corrected. We are very satisfied with the result. The fence is a great addition to our yard. We have had some nice compliments on the work from neighbors and friends as well.

They were punctual, responsive, polite and friendly. They did exactly what we agreed upon and did it beautifully. They cleaned up after themselves and even fixed an extra broken board just to be nice.

This father son team showed up when promised and started digging post holes almost immediately. Later in the day the rain was coming down pretty hard so they said they would come back a few days later to finish up. They came back just as promised and finished up. By the way, my wife had decided she wanted a modification to our original plan and they did as asked.

Excellent. We were very pleased with the price, the finished product and how easy it was to arrange. Our goal was a dog escape proof yard, during the work they proactively suggested a few ideas which greatly improved what we had planned by ensuring the yard was dog proof while looking still looking great. They were very friendly and worked hard. The estimate provided was competitive. Great service and company!

George and Gabe is a father/son operation. They do all the work themselves, and the son arrived to survey the yard within a couple of days of my call for a quote. At my request, I was emailed a very detailed quote that broke the work down into several segments. Their company was the only one, of the ones I contacted, that would also be able to stain the screens, but it would have been close to a thousand dollars for them to do so. All in all, their prices were 2nd highest of the bids, but I did appreciate their prompt response to my request for a quote.

Gabe and his crew were professional, courteous and on time. He did a great job of helping us decide were the fence would go best on our property, and which kind of fencing would suit our needs. When the day came, he was there on time and got the job done quickly. We had lousy weather that interrupted the installation (although they did work one of the days when it was pretty terrible out) and came back to finish as soon as it was nice again. I would really recommend him, he was nice to work with and we felt we got a really good value for what we needed done. We love having the yard safe for our son and the dogs to race around in, everyone is very happy!

Gabe came out to give a quote and I was very impressed with how polite and professional he was upon meeting him. For both the quote and installation he was on time and willing to answer questions and concerns. He was very flexible with regard to making changes and willing to work together to make sure I was happy with the outcome. I received excellent work and results. All materials were personally handpicked by Gabe at the supplier. We received very courteous attention to our ideas, but also were supported with Gabe's ideas of what could make the projects better and stronger. All trash and extraneous materials were hauled away and the yard and surroundings were left as clean and tidy as the original state. They were very quick and focused when on the job and very pleasant to visit with about the projects as they progressed. I believe George and Gabe went far beyond our expectations. As homeowners and customers my wife and I could not be more pleased with their work and ability to provide excellent quality.

George and Gabe arrived on time and removed the old fence and set the posts for the new fence. They hauled away all the old fencing as well. The following day they returned and installed all the new fence. A two-day process just as promised. They are hard workers and do quality work. They cleaned up everything before they left. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family and hire them again.

They called me back the same day I called, made an appointment for estimate and was on time for the estimate. Very nice and friendly and gave me a written proposal on the spot. He and his father did the work perfectly. They actually made the Catalina lattice top piece by piece and the lattice is twice the thickness of the type you buy. The fence is beautiful and I get compliments on it all the time. Everyone loves how the fence looks. Another neighbor of mine had them replace her fence and she was also very pleased. I definately would use them again and refer people to them all the time.
