Boger Plumbing

Our faucet blew a gasket when our rural water provider had a water surge on Saturday night. We called on Sunday morning and arranged for service at 9:22 am, texted our full address, they were going to repair in the afternoon. At 4:21 we texted to confirm that they were still coming. At 4:53 got response that he would come in 45 min - 90 minutes. At 5:50, after 7 hours of waiting, he called and said we were out of his service area and he would not be coming to provide service. He had our full address from the beginning, 7 hours earlier, we could have called another service provider instead of keeping us waiting until it is too late to get someone else. We are halfway between Hillsboro and Newberg and have Newberg service people frequently. A company certainly has the right to determine its own service area, but to do it on the fly after keeping people waiting all day without a working faucet and keeping them from engaging other plumbers (who honor their service commitments) and to fail to honor their own service commitments deserves a Grade F in my book. Rural customers beware.

We needed to have a new toilet installed in a bathroom that has not yet been finished as part of a remodel. The water line had been set, but no turn off valve installed and the sewer connection established. Brian installed a new, concealed trap toilet - not the easiest model to work with - so that we might be able to finish the new dry wall behind it without having to take the toilet out. He was able to fit us in, kept us posted as to his arrival time and did a great job. I recommend you contact him via text on his posted number. It did take a while for him to reply to the request for a quote via Angie's List, for which he apologized. BUT - he is the ONLY plumber in my area that I contacted via Angie's that DID reply. The ones that were out of area were good enough to reply immediately that they could not do the work. I had also contacted some outside of Angie's and they did not reply, either.

He showed up on time, actually was able to do a significant re-routing of some plumbing while he was here.

Water was dripping from my shower pipe. I left a message for Brian of Boger Plumbing and he called me back within 2 hours. I explained the problem and he knew which part was needed to fix it. He was able to come the same day with the new cartridge and install it. He arrived on time and was very nice, professional and considerate.

I called to request the work;left a message and never heard back. I placed the call a week and a half ago.

Not Good. Talked Brian late Thursday afternoon, he said he could come out in 45 mins to an hour to look at the problem. Two hours later, no call no show, two days later still nothing.

Very impressed as I called in the evening and he was so helpful. I did not use his services, but he graciously directed me to someone who could do the service we needed.

Hose bib went flawless, shower needs a much bigger scope of work then I hoped for and I will hire again when we fix the shower..

They were awesome and everything was cool. They were really good contractors and I love them. He was very cool and very personable. He was reasonable too. He was honest and gave me directions. He was on time. He was professional.

I made the call in the morning and they were able to come out after i got off work to perform the services.
