Very fast service

American Electric was responsive to my phone calls, showed up on time, located the break with special equipment, and repaired it. I'm happy. The damage was caused by gophers. And the cost of the repair was reasonable compared to the cost of replacing 600 ft of buried cable.

Power went dark to two rooms on Friday afternoon of Memorial weekend. I didn't bother to call anyone on Saturday. On Sunday morning I called American Electric to leave a message to get in the queue for next week. David answered the phone and said that next week was booked by he might be able to swing by on Monday (Memorial Day). He was there at 8am and was done a little after 9. The wiring in this 90 year old house is kinda crazy with odd pairings of circuits on a particular set of lights. That we found some crossed circuit on this buried and long forgotten electrical run was a feat in and of itself. That he took my phone call on Sunday of a holiday weekend and did the work the next day, Memorial Day... says a lot about his commitment to service. He didn't know me from Sam, but could see I was in need of assistance and made time to do a little trouble shooting. Kudos to Dave Haupt.

David made time to come over and rescue my range. A part was shorted out and not being an appliance repair man, called a local store. He was told the part was obsolete, yikes all I could see was having to buy a new stove. But he checked the circuits and managed to hook it back up and got it working great. I am pleased and impressed! Will certainly call AES for any future electrical needs in the future!

Our experience with American Electric Service as very positive. Our family room lights and outlets were not working and we couldn't find the source of the problem. Dave examined the stuation and quickly tracked down the problem to the circuit breaker box. Dave fixed the problem to our satisfaction and we would recommend American Electric Service to all of our friends and family!!

This one day job turned into a series of 1 to 2 hour visits. Unfortunately we did not know when we first contacted them that they specialize in quick and emergency repairs (which they would be excellent at doing). Despite describing the job at the first call, they did not indicate it would take so many visits to complete the work. The electrician is very nice and professional, its just that our job was not a good match to his business model. Since he was out of time due to another big commercial job, we did not have him install the second circuit and receptacles. We have not received an invoice from him yet so we are unsure what the final cost will be. If you need a quick repair, American Electric is an excellent provider!

Several rooms in our house lost electricity and we checked all the breakers and...nothing. We called American Electrical Services at 4:30 p.m. and David came out at 7:30 the next morning and stayed with it until he determined what was causing the outage, fixed it and was on his way. He was responsive, accommodating, professional and effective. We highly recommend and will definitely use American Electric again!

I think Paul is the owner. He is very honest and he fixes only what needs to be fixed. He sticks to the work until he finds the problem.

Great! We called around 3 p.m. in the afternoon on a Saturday. Someone was here an hour later at 4 p.m. They fixed the switch in no time flat and were gone before 5 p.m. on their way to another electrical emergency. The electrican was a really nice man who knew his trade very well. We had expected a high bill since it was late on a Saturday. The cost of $200 was less than what we thought the bill might be.
