Description of Work: Mark came to take measurements and describe what would be done for retractable screen doors, front door and French doors in rear. I would use this contractor, but couldn't proceed with project until later. When I contacted him in May 2014 he said his supplier had closed.

+ -1 moreMark was recommended by the company we hired to install a standard screen door as they no longer do retractables. Weeks later, I'm still awaiting my standard screen door while Mark came out within days of our initial meeting to install retractable screen doors for the french doors that lead to our deck. He was very punctual and professional. He even came out a second time prior to install because he wanted to double check something. He explained how these screens work very thoroughly and asked about pets to make sure we understood these might not work if you have a very persistent pet who might dig at the bottom of the screens and escape. Our cats are fine with the screens and we've had no problem. These screen doors make it that much easier for us to enjoy our deck.

Description of Work: We hired Mark Wimmer of Aira NW Screens to install retractable screens on 2 sets of french doors and 1 regular door. These screens "roll away" when not in use and unroll and attach magnetically when in use. we absolutely love them and use them about 6 months out of the year. We have had people accidentally walk through them and they always "heal themselves" by simply opening and closing after the incident. We just had Mark back 2-1/2 years after the initial installation. One screen needed a less powerful magnet and one set of screens were no longer working after my husband removed and replaced them after replacing a dry rotted sill. Mark came the next day, fixed both screens, left extra silicone spray for us all for FREE. He is a great guy, Removes his shoes to prevent tracking in dirt. Very responsive, knows his products and stands behind them.
