Description of Work: Trimmed and hauled away branches-general yard work.

Description of Work: My initial call/email was returned promptly and professionally. We met as scheduled and discussed the project. Due to the scope ($) of the project I explained that it would need to be multi-phased, as my budget was limited to $10,000 for the first phase. I really liked and appreciated Trish's ecological approach to deconstructing/reconstructing our landscape and also her vision for the new landscape. I was very much looking forward to working with her. | |This landscape project was at our vacation home, located in a gated community, where most homes are occupied on summer weekends but otherwise vacant. There is a community security gate/camera and we have two outdoor motion-activated cameras, one on the driveway and one at the front door. | |About two weeks into the bidding/planning, I received an email from Trish stating that they were too busy to take on this project. Her words, "We have been swamped and are turning down work almost every day. We have to be very selective. And honestly, I find the gates and codes and surveillance pretty off-putting. I hope you can find a landscaper who is a good fit for you." | |She kindly offered the contact information for the excavator she'd been working with and suggested we hire him directly. | |I am not/can not comment on their quality of work. My hunch is that we would have been really pleased - if the work had gone forward. Perhaps if I'd been willing to spend the $20-$30,000 (my estimate) to complete the project entirely, they would have been interested. Further, I've been reluctant to share my feedback, but decided that customer feedback is one of the reasons I joined Angie's list. | | | |

Description of Work: We reviewed Gil and Trish Landscaping before, but we continue to be very satisfied with their work. They are very nice, friendly people who are well thought of around our small town. Last week they came with pruning shears and mulch (I believe it was) and winterized our yard. Description of Work: Gill and Trish Landscape take care of our landscape maintenance. They charge $30 an hour but they also have different contracts.
