decks, remodeling, deck cleaning
+ 1 moreWe had Chris remodel our garage in late-2011 (see our Garage Themes review), and it was because of this very positive experience that I chose him for our deck "redo". The project went exceptionally well. We are VERY pleased with the results, and are very much looking forward to dry weather when we can begin using our new deck! Chris began with the original deck the builder put on our 1999 construction home. Age and Oregon winters took their toll over 15 years, and it was very much time to replace the deck. Chris determined that the supporting structure of the deck was fine and did not need to be replaced. The deck turned out beautifully, and we could not be more pleased with the results. The work is top-notch, and the communication that Chris provides is excellent as well. I highly recommend Chris for both garage remodels as well as home projects such as our deck!
Description of Work: Replaced decking and railing on our 15 year old cedar deck. Upgraded the stability of the railing and cross-braced the deck trusses. Sanded the new boards and applied a very light translucent stain with UV protectant on the new cedar.
