+ 2 moreJohn Huffman was recommended by an Interior Architect who was also a family friend. We hired him as the general contractor for the entire house remodel. The entire remodel took two years to complete. As an Interior Designer and the homeowner, I was very particular and had my own specifications on the construction and finish of the interior as well as the exterior of the house. He listened and worked closely with me and my husband in the details of the cabinetry, wood trims and the overall completion of the remodel. He also coordinated with the architect on the proposed plans of the extension and remodel . Specializing in fine finished carpentry, John did all five built in cabinet systems and all the finished wood trims around the house. John is very professional. He communicated well with us, on the details and the timing of the different phases of the remodel. He was meticulous in his work and made sure the job was completed and we were satisfied. Description of Work: John did the overall general contracting of the entire remodel. He contracted subs for the construction of room extensions, installation of replacement windows, the prep structure for residential elevator, the plumbing and the electrical upgrade. Aside from the general contracting, he designed, constructed and installed all the built in cabinets and closet, did all the window and door wood trims, updated the entire kitchen and the staircase.
