Description of Work: Ron had installed a new gas fireplace for us in 2013 -- after removing the existing painted brick surround by the proper procedure when the paint was found to contain lead. | |I called him when the new fireplace wouldn't ignite this fall (and a fresh battery in the remote didn't help). He stopped on his way home that day and determined that our year-old remote from NWNG was faulty. He sold us a new one at his cost and didn't charge for the visit. | |I appreciated his responsiveness during the busiest season of his year.

Description of Work: gas fireplace was only barely lit. they came out and fixed the living room fireplace and serviced the bedroom fireplace. problem was spiders that had taken up residence in the line. he showed me where they had entered and advised that i spray in the fall with insecticide. will use again if required.

Description of Work: I WAS NOT AT HOME WHEN THE SERVICE WAS DONE, AND MY HUSBAND HANDLED THE SERVICE.HE WAS SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE.

Description of Work: The guy was prompt and did a good job cleaning and insuring that the fireplace was working well. The only thing is that about a week after I purchased this there was a deal that was cheaper.

Description of Work: We purchased the special they had advertised that was supposed to include a full cleaning, maintenance service and gravel top up on our gas fireplace insert. The tech was nice enough, but there were a few things that put me off of using this company again. There was nothing that screamed professional in the way he cleaned the insert. He used a small home-use shop vac and sucked up half of our remaining gravel, then sprayed some cleaner (which he told us we could get at the local home improvement store) on the glass and gave it a not very thorough wipe. There was still some gravel stuck in the crack at the front of the glass and he said there was nothing he could do about that. When we asked him about the noise that the blower made his responses didn't come from a wide knowledge base. After using the vacuum he said that it sounded better and it had probably fixed it. When I asked about replacing the gravel he said he didn't know anything about that and that he didn't even have any. He also didn't clean the black metal fascia that snaps onto the front of the insert. He was only in our house for about 35 minutes; plus, he used my bathroom. I am fussy about work performed and I thought that GasPro could have done a really good job cleaning our insert in a way that I was unaware of or didn't have time to do. But it was $100 spent on a job I could have had my kid perform.
