Description of Work: The service technician cleaned our gas fireplace. Reset the system and restarted the pilot light. He also investigated, at my request, the necessary equipment and cost for installing a fan. Our fireplace is a non-standard size so some modification of standard fans was required. He provided an immediate estimate for the fan installation and followed up the next day with a firm quote. He left the area clean. He was also extremely flexible in his schedule as an unexpected appointment on my end made it impossible for him to service the fireplace on our originally scheduled day. He set aside time the following afternoon to complete the work.

Description of Work: Clean and tune on a gas insert fireplace. Our ignitor wasn't working b/c the prior homeowner had let many years go by without a cleaning. They were prompt, honest and fixed our issue through cleaning parts rather than upselling a replacement. Definitely recommend!

Description of Work: The owner was the one who came out and cleaned my gas fireplace. He arrived on time, giving me a call when he left the place before mine so I'd have a better idea of when he would arrive. He not only cleaned the fireplace, but also gave me tips on how to care for it, as well. I had to wait in line several weeks, since it was a busy time, but worth the wait!

Description of Work: The original technician came out and misquoted the problem, leading to unnecessary damage and reprt of additional charges. The owner was wonderfully responsive, come on a weekend, was thorough, professional, and explained the problem well giving us multiple options to fix it. The second technician that came out to complete the work left without putting everything back together, which we were not informed of for a few days. They offered to have him return weeks alter to complete, but we declined as it was an easy fix. We only paid the original one time cost for three visits. All in all, if everyone was as awesome as the owner we would use them again and recommend in a heart beat. Since that was not the case, not sure if we will use again in the future.

Description of Work: Our gas fireplace was malfunctioning - it would switch on, but not remain on. I was concerned it was overheating and causing the safety device to shut it down. We used Gaspro some years ago to sort out the mess caused by another service provider, and they certainly seem to know these fireplaces. They sorted out the problem which was mainly caused by a lack of maintenance and cleaning over the years. I will use this company again if needed, and the only problem at this time of the year is that they are very popular and it was nearly a month before we could get an appointment.

Description of Work: GasPro tech discovered no gas was getting to my gas fireplace during routine servicing, purchased through Angies List. Tech went under the house into the crawlspace to check out gas line but couldn't reach the on-off valve. This alone was above and beyond great customer service. Turns out a contractor turned off fireplace gas line when they installed the new gas range. Once I had gas again, weeks later, GasPro sent the tech back to finish the job, at no extra cost to me. Superior customer service. Tech was professional, courteous and competent. Owner made the decision to send the tech back out to finish the servicing without charging me for another visit. I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Excellent service! I was rather nervous since I paid in advance for the gas fireplace tune-up and repair but all went well. Very pleased, and would definitely use GasPro again.
