+ 0 moreWent through our gas company to purchase the tank-less unit and they sub the installation out. The gas company used Gaspro for this job. Gaspro arrived as planned and removed the old hot water tank. They then installed the tank-less unit including the gas line, new chimney stack, hot and cold water lines. After completing the work they cleaned up the area leaving it cleaner than it was before.
Description of Work: Remove hot water heater and replace with a tank-less unit.

If I have to replace a fireplace or run a gas line, he is going to be the one I call because he knows what he is doing. He was going on vacation and made a special trip to my house to go over everything. He was very personable, experienced, and knowledgeable.
Description of Work: I had issues with the installer of a gas fireplace so I had Gaspro come out and go over everything.

+ 2 moreEverything went smooth through to passing city inspection. Contractor called asking if he could slip the installation a day because of a family emergency. Not a problem with us in fact it worked out best for both of us. He said that he would arrive at 11:00 and you could have set your clock by the time he pulled up. The job proceeded professionally showing experience in installing other tank less systems. The contractor came with all necessary piping and fittings to complete the job without having to return to the shop or supplier for missing items. After completing the installation, he left the garage cleaner than when he arrived. Two days later the city inspector looked everything over and signed off on it.
Description of Work: Remove existing hot water tank. Install and plumb a Tank less hot water system. Drain old tank, disconnect water and gas then remove the tank. Attach the new system to the wall, connect and route the flue stack out through the roof. Connect the gas line, water lines, condensation drain and electrical. Sweep and pickup area on completion.

+ -1 moreAs with Ron's previous installation of the fireplace, I was thoroughly pleased with the work he performed. He was very patient in explaining to me how to operate the fan (and originally, how to operate the fireplace) and remote. He had me go through the process while he provided guidance to make sure that I understood exactly how to do it. He was timely, professional and patiently willing to answer all my questions. A few weeks after the fireplace was installed, I called Ron with a question. He was prompt in responding to my voice mail message and totally answered my question. He is a true professional with an excellent customer service attitude. I highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Ron installed a fan in my gas fireplace; and wired a remote thermostat for the fireplace. Previously (about a year and half ago) he connected the gas pipes and installed the fireplace.

+ 0 moreWas impressed initially, but given loss of professionalism as time went on, I wouldn't use him again.
Description of Work: Malfunctioning gas fireplace. Requested repair vs replacement. Ron said replacement wasn't necessary. Was aware that another gas fireplace professional had already assessed and worked on unit as well. Replaced some parts, spoke with company; fixes sometimes resulted in short-term functional fireplace. Ron did good work initially. As time went on and replacement of parts didn't yield desired outcome of a functional unit, began ignoring calls and/or returning calls less and less promptly. When he did arrive for work, chastised me for not calling about recent malfunctioning sooner. This happened on more than one occasion. Each time I had called promptly, but calls weren't returned. Also requested estimate for other gas line work x3 - never provided firm estimate.
