He arrived on time, did the job, cleaned up after himself and was willing to answer questions. I was happy with the service. and will most likely call Gaspro for any future fireplace service.

Arrived within the specified time. Took the time to cover things before he started cleaning. Cleaned and vacuumed the interior of the insert, washed both sides of the glass in the door. He also took extra time to answer my questions, even for another gas fireplace that is in another part of the house. Checked for gas leaks. Very courteous.

Came to clean our lower level wall-to-wall carpeting. When he measured the space he told me that we had overestimated the square footage, and it would actually be cheaper for him to clean than we had originally estimated. I really appreciated his honesty in regards to the measurement. He was a bit late for the appointment, but did call me to let me know he was stuck in traffic and apologized several times. He did slightly underestimate the time it would take for the carpet to dry, but it was fine-- I just feel like everyone should allow longer than the estimate anyway. We'd definitely use this company for future carpet cleaning again.

Bought an Angie's List Coupon for a fireplace checkup. Had just moved into a new house and fireplace wasn't actually working. I told Ron this and asked if I could still use the coupon. He said sure, he'd come and check it out and see if actually was broken or if his checkup process would be sufficient. It turns out he was able to get it working just fine, and I was very pleased with using GasPro for this service. Ron also followed up with me via email, sending us the manual for both the fireplace and the remote control-- which we really appreciate. I'd definitely turn to him first for any further fireplace needs.

Went fine - adjusted to factory specs, removed a lot of carbon and repositioned the logs to minimize future carbon build up on the glass. Did not try to sell anything but did answer my questions about what options I could take if I wished to update the fireplace to a more efficient unit

Ron called ahead to confirm appointment,brought all necessary equipment plus drop cloth did an excellent service job and left my fireplace in good condition and my home clean.will schedule with him on annual basis and refer to family and friends.

Ron did a good job checking out the fireplace and telling me what it meant to have a ventless fireplace. There wasn't much for him to do. I think the igniter was not working properly, which he remedied. He only charged me for the basic house call with inspection. He was helpful answering my questions about what it would cost to replace or remove the fireplace, and also he gave me some advice about my gas range.

They cleaned the fireplace including the pilot light. They even replaced the wall switch that controls the fireplace. The service was very professional and performed quickly.

The work done required GasPro to enter a low to craw space, crawl among low flooring beams, heat duct, etc to remove a 25 year old gas shut off valve. Old value was not well aligned for shut off handle to go through the floor. Gas Pro installed new code compliant shut off valve, addressed the "though the floor alignment matter. Initially we were going to replace a 2nd fireplace value, but given that it would require incremental costs to move heat vents and other hardware items, we agreed to hold off doing any work until it was required. All in all, very happy with the professionalism of both the owner who came a provided the initial quotes, and the work done by the team who came and did the work.

Went great! I hadn't used the fireplace in a couple of years and wanted it checked out and cleaned prior to using it again. I looked on Angie's List and saw the good reviews on this company and decided to call. I spoke with Ron and he arranged an appointment to come within a week. I asked what he charged and told him I found him through Angie's List. He quoted me $129.00 for the service call (plus tax). He arrived within the time frame, checked out, cleaned, and answered any questions I had about the fireplace. He was knowledgeable and professional. Paid him what he quoted me. I intend on having him 'tune up' the fireplace every year for the fall/winter season. I recommend him highly.

Don was great! He figured out that my on/off switch was not broken but had been buried from a previous carpet installation......I was thrilled! He vacuumed it out and would not take a dime......can't wait to get my new logs installed.

Recently, we had new floors installed in our home. Last evening, I inserted our gas valve key to light the fireplace & to my frustration, the key did not fit the valve cap. Today, making several unsuccesful phone calls to detemine the cause, Ron Phillips of Gaspro Inc. was recommended by NW Natural. I found Mr. Phillips professional and curtious over the phone during our conversation where it was determined that he would need to physically view the mechanism to properly diagnose. Coincidentally, he was very close to my neighborhood & said he would stop by as a courtesy call. I received a phone call within the hour relieved to find that it was only a piece of mortar from the floor install that was wedged into the fitting. Once removed, it was working fine. I will definately contact Gaspro for any future installs and/or repairs. I highly recommend his services.

They showed up on time and went right to work. They explained everything they found and made sure that we understood the issue. They also did a very good job at cleaning up after they were done.

Gaspro worked on our fireplace about 2 months ago. Then recently, a problem developed where the fire would shut itself off. We called Gaspro, and they sent someone out to troubleshoot the problem. The technician arrived on time, removed his shoes before coming in the house, was efficient, polite, and fixed the problem. There was a wire to the on/off switch that had been installed too closely to the hot part of the fireplace, and it was melting. This was done during fireplace installation prior to our buying the house. The technician replaced the wire, showed us how to adjust the settings, and ran the fireplace for 15 minutes to confirm that everything, including the fan, was working properly. He was here for 45 minutes and did not charge us anything for this follow up service call. Great service!

We smelled gas near our fireplace insert. NW Natural Gas was called and told us there was a gas leak. We called GasPro, who sent a technician over. He pulled the fireplace out, checked all over the unit and was unable to detect any gas leakage. He placed the unit back into the fireplace without any problems. Being suspecious, I asked NW Natural Gas to return and confirm the absence of gas. They returned, rediscovered the gas leak, red-tagged the unit, and told us not to use it. I am unable to determine why their technician was unable to find the leak. I chose not to ask them to return and got another company, who quickly found the problem joint.

Ron, the owner of Gaspro, came out on a Saturday morning to perform the service. We scheduled the service call for 9:30 am. Ron arrived around 10:30 am. Prior to his arrival I did call and leave a voice message to make sure I had the correct time. In fairness to him, when I scheduled the call he did mention that he had an appointment before me. Ron took the downstairs fireplace insert apart, inspected it and cleaned it. There was a lot of white powder residue on the logs and glass because I hadn't had it cleaned in quite a while. While he was there, Ron gave me a lot of great information on maintaining gas fireplaces and told me about products that are safe to use on this kind of speciality glass. Ron also vacumed off the gas logs upstairs and took measurements for an insert for this fireplace. This is a smaller fireplace and will be more difficult to fit with an insert. Ron gave me a few suggestions about installing glass doors as well as options for inserts. Ron was thorough, cleaned up after he completed the work and covered my hardwood floors while he did the work. I was very happy with the service and would recommend Gaspro. My fireplace looks great!

Called Gaspro because fireplace would burn for a while and the go out on an intermittent basis. On first service call, the unit was cleaned and serviced.A few days after first service call, we noticed the fireplace was still failing on an intermiitent basis. On the second service call, it was determined that loose wiring in the wall switch was causing the problem. This problem was corrected and firepace is now operating correctly. I am completely satisfied with Gaspro and would use this company in the future.

Service was great and even learned that logs have to be placed per factory specifications in order for the gas fireplace to burn efficiently. We were impressed that we signed up for their annual service. No complaints at all.
