The workman was prompt; very helpful. He not only showed me how to fix it the problem (and did fix it), but he offered very useful advice and information about gas fireplace use. The configuration and origin of our set, how to increase efficiency and auxiliary apps available (that he was not selling).

They arrived during the window they indicated and they were in and out within and hour having solved the issue (cleaned the lines) and also suggested some ways to avoid the problem in the future.

Arrived on time, did work in a professional manner, & left no mess. I would definitely use them again.

I called for an appointment during the December cold snap, so had to wait until mid-January for an appointment, but the service man (John) arrived early into the 3 hour window. It took him about 2 hours to work on the fireplaces. At my request he swapped a fan with bad bearings when on "high" to the master bedroom, and moved the operational fan to the family room where it is more likely to be used. He vacuumed the area where the fan and controls are located, positioned the artificial logs correctly, replaced a few pieces of artificial embers, cleaned the glass, bolted down the box that responds to the remote controls, and tested everything to make sure it all worked correctly. He showed me how to use the remotes, when to use of the wall switches, how to remove the glass for cleaning, and how to turn the pilot light off. He also explained what would and would not work during a power failure, and even told me how to tell if the logs are arranged properly. Although I was initially unhappy that he had not brought a replacement fan, I understood the company's reasoning when I learned that they cost $200 and that I really didn't need one for the bedroom, since the room will heat sufficiently without a fan. I would definitely use this company in the future.

Everything went well. The technician was right on time and finished up quickly.

Had some back and forth with Ron, the owner of GasPro, but generally a positive experience. The technician, John, was excellent. On the visit earlier today he told me I had obtained the wrong thermocouple. I went back to the store that had sold it to me and was immediately able to get the right one. So I called John, who was on his way home, and he agreed to return to my home because he knew that rescheduling the appointment would mean at least a two week delay. So I am typing this in front of a cheery gas fire in my fireplace. Excellent service! Ratings are based on my overall experience w GasPro - John would get all A's.

Gaspro did a great job. They were very responsive, coming out soon after we contacted them and we were able to get the project scheduled and started in a relatively quick period of time. They were professional throughout our encounters with them, and we would highly recommend them for any fireplace installation.

He came on time, was very thorough, a perfectionist cleaning everything. Said he had been doing this since 1995. Very polite. It looks brand new.

GREAT. John was prompt, efficient, thorough, and professional. He took care to protect my hardwood floors, explained the workings of the downdraft system, set the clock, etc, and showed me how to operate the new stove. It was obvious that he cared not only about the quality of his work, but that I was prepared to use my new appliance, as well! Oh, that every company could have employees that are as committed to quality as this employee!

Ron was excellent about getting a hold of me. I am often in meetings so I can be difficult to catch and he returned my call within the specific window I requested. John arrived in the window I was given. He answered lots of questions for me about the fireplace operation. He cleaned it and checked for gas leaks. I will definitely be calling GasPro for my next cleaning or any service I need.

Scheduling was easy and they arrived on time. Put down a mat to protect floors. Cleaned the fireplace and got it going again. Gave suggestions on proper use and maintenance.

Technician arrived right on time - he cleaned the fireplace & answered all my questions very professionally and gave me info on further services offered by GasPro when I asked him about fireplace inserts.

Ron was very good at scheduling our service call, especially since we didn't live in the metro area where he's based. He was extremely efficient and VERY personable. He answered all our questions about the functioning of the fireplace. We moved into the home and did not have any kind of manual or operating instructions, so that was worth the price for his sharing his experience and knowledge. He went over ALL the buttons and switches; explained how to keep it working efficiently and didn't push us to schedule return visits; but maintained his willingness to answer any questions or return to do any work we might have in the future. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to everyone!!

During the initial call to schedule an appointment for service, I also mentioned that I was having problems with my gas barbecue and If it was possible to have the tech look at it. He said yes and then gave me advise on things to check in the meantime. The service tech arrived promptly at the beginning of the 2 hr time window. After cleaning the gas fireplace, I asked if he could take a quick look at my barbecue. It's a 10 yr old Weber and I was considering replacing it. He took a quick look and found a gas leak at the regulator. I was able to replace the $20 regulator myself and save myself $800 or more on a new barbecue. I very much appreciate that he took the few extra minutes to help me. Thanks guys!

Purchased this service as ANGIE'S BIG DEAL. The fireplace is about 3 years old and I haven't done anything to it since it was installed, so I thought it would be a good idea to have it serviced. The work was done in about an hour. He gave me the run down on what he did. No problems. Just the way I like it.

Arrived during scheduled arrival "window" introduced self layed downed barrier to keep my floor clean, took off his shoes, Polite thorough. Cleaned up after work.

Great; he was prompt and he did a good job as far as I can tell. I was satisfied with the service; he was on time, did his job and it didn't take him that long. I was pleased. I made the appointment at my convenience.

I'd say it went ok, I was expecting a discount for doing more than 19 fireplace, however that did not occur! As a result, I'll probably not use this service provider again!
