Ron came out twice, first in February and then in October, as the wife was having trouble getting her arms around what she wanted the new fireplace to look like. At one time she envisioned hiring a separate designer but eventually Ron made a proposal that allowed us to design as we went. We divided the job into 2 parts, starting with removing and installing the new fireplace without any finish work. The fireplace installation took 1 day and was operational immediately. At this juncture, the wife decided she wanted to add some tile to the design.Then Roger the mantle wizard came in and had her pick out the mantle she liked by searching the web. After the mantle was installed, Arlen the tile man arrived and finished off the fireplace. Total time three weeks - but that gave us time to figure out how we wanted the finished product to look. We are quite pleased with the installation - in particular, the mantle looks exactly like the one she asked Roger to duplicate. All involved were friendly, professional, timely and cleaned up. Note that Gaspro does not sell fireplaces - they recommend you go to NW Natural Fireplace store to see what you like and buy. Gaspro then picks up the fireplace and installs. You could probably source your fireplace elsewhere, but NW Natural does have a large selection and lots of expertise. We did not shop around for additional bids. We were comfortable that Gaspro would do the job right and we really did not care if we could have done the job with someone else for less. Because we did not get additional bids, we have not rated price - but our intuition suggests that we got high quality at a fair price If you are in the market for a new fireplace, we can sincerely recommend Gaspro.

The service was great. The worker was very competent, cleaned the glass, and adjusted everything that needed to be. He was very prompt. He left the area absolutely clean before he left. I would highly recommend this service to a friend. Our fireplaces had not been cleaned in over ten years.

They were wonderful. They were nice to work with. He was on time. I had lots of questions because my unit was old and I was concerned about the safety. He explained it was top of the line and not to worry. He only made minor adjustments.

Was prompt and replaced my pilot light and the fireplace has worked perfectly.

The only reason why I rated price a C was because just a few days after I scheduled this service, another provider had a $99 deal for what seems to be the same service. I would have liked to save $70 by going the other route, but I did not want to cancel. Assuming that the other deal was "apples to apples," then I missed out. BUT .... GasPro was great and they performed my service for the price I agreed to and I am ultimately very happy and would recommend them.

It was strange, the tech came to clean my fireplace. I had him work on my fireplace at my prior residence and it turned out great. I just moved here last summer and wanted to use the gas fireplace here but it wasn't working. The tech came and cleaned it but wasn't able to get it working. I wasn't happy at this point. So then I asked for someone to come and give me a bid on installing a new gas insert. It is old and should be replaced. So the owner of the company came out to give me a bid. And in the process, he got the fireplace working! That is really what I wanted just for it to work the way it is. So I am happy.

On time, very efficient and conscious of my home, first time that my fireplace was serviced. I bought my home 2 years ago, and I believe that the fireplace had not been serviced before ever. our home was built in 2004, so we were definitely wanting to have this done. after the service we could not have been happier! it looked great and the heat output was noticeably increased. I would highly recommend this service! will absolutely use again in the future! very happy!

We made an appointment with Gaspro to clean and service our fireplace, which was not working. It was a busy time of the year, so we had to wait a couple of weeks for an appointment. The technician was there on time and was able to get the fireplace working again. It is now 1/21/2015 and the fireplace is still working. Also the customer representative I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and helpful.

They arrived within the the time slot, discovered a spider had crawled into the gas line which then caused the fireplace to stop working. He fixed it, cleaned up, gave some advice on another gas fireplace in my home and was pleasant and helpful.

I disliked that it took him a month longer to give us an estimate and he said he would. He seemed really knowledgeable.

John was terrific. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. When I asked that he explain how the fireplace work, he talked to me as he worked and told me what he was doing. I really appreciated that. He cleaned the fireplace and told me what products to use in the future. Of course, he tested the fireplace and when the gas didn't work, he showed me the spider's web that plugged the gas line. So I learned not only about human technology, but nature, too!

I bought the Big Deal for a gas fireplace tune up and as usual, the service was top notch. I use this company every other year, just to keep the fireplace in working order. Each time the Service Techs are professional and quite willing to patiently answer any questions I may have. The last tech was kind of skimpy on the "embers" and when I mentioned it to the person who came this year, he was more than willing to make up for that shortage. This company is just a pleasure to do business with.

Not such a great deal, a week after I made this appointment with one of your operators on the phone I received a card from the gas company saying they would do the same service for $129.00 and now I see that you are advertising another company to do the same job for $99.00. So there was no problems with my gas fireplace but I feel I was over charged so no I probably won't use this company again. The company seemed fine and there were no problems but just see now that I could have gotten the same service for a lot less.

The service technician was on time and efficient. He took the time to explain the workings of our older style Gas Insert fireplace. We determined the remote sensor was not functioning so we opted to have it replaced for an added $150. He had the parts and installed it correctly. He then let us know what to look for in future operations of the fireplace and went outside to visually inspect the chimney. Overall the service was very good and quick.
