All Day Projects

Went well. They communicate well. The area was clean after they were done.

To begin with, the office staff were super great. They definitely understand the "service" part of the customer-service field. I had to change my appointment (no problem!). I wasn't sure how they counted each window (great website explanation!). Both people I talked to over the course of 4 phone calls were simply wonderful. The window washer who showed up was also very nice. She called before she came and politely asked if she could show up a little early, which worked for me. She was careful and consistent donning and doffing her construction booties. I wanted her to start a certain place--no problem. Very lovely personality. The removal of basic window dirt was great. I believe the tool was soapy but soft, perhaps similar to a fluffy fleece (I didn't check it out up close). No interior drips or mess. She removed, washed, and replaced screens as well. I also was made to understand that etched on water-droplet stains, particularly on my ancient patio door, could not be removed. I was sorry to hear this but it makes sense, and I do not hold this against All Day Projects. I was told that I could perhaps hire a glass specialist with stronger tools to evaluate and possibly fix this problem, but it isn't worth it to me. I do suspect that these mineral deposits have accumulated over the years because I sometimes rinse the windows and glass doors with a hose and let them dry, and my Vancouver neighborhood has hard waterI'll try to squeegee off the hose water in the future so my problem doesn't get worse. Anyway: ADP did a good job with normal surface dirt. However, any place where there was extra dirt that needed a little hand-scrubbing--that didn't dissolve with the pass of the soapy water--stayed dirty. I didn't carefully inspect all the surfaces before she left--my bad. These areas are very easy to see, if I had only looked! In particular, I had an interior window with a lot of streaks and white marks from my cats rubbing along the window (it's a window seat with a view), and a few long (2 feet) streaks of bird droppings on the back patio door, and the ADP washing technique did not remove these. This oversight surprises me. It took the worker about an hour to do 15 very large windows inside and out. 5 of those panes were full-sized glass doors, actually. So she was very fast. However, it's possible that this swift execution did not include a careful inspection of the washed windows for any additional stubborn stains such as those I mentioned. I recommend that before their ADP window washer leaves, homeowners double-check any areas where they know they may have extra dirt, stains, bird-droppings, smears of dried baby food, crayola or tape residue, or whatever.

They were here about an hour and a half working.

I purchased a Big Deal for window washing. He did a very good job. I asked him to clean the roofs too, he did a good job. The window included skylight cleaning. He was very pride and took time to clean the windows. I paid him extra $200 something, because we have a lot of windows and skylights on the second floor. We moved to this house and we hadn't clean the windows for a long time, and it looks really nice now. I think he did a really good job on the roof too. I had a lot of pine needles and now they are still not many. He did a thorough job.

They came when they said they would and the deck looks brand new. Highly recommend.

Wonderful! Worked hard all day and did exactly as we asked. Couldn't be happier with the experience, professionalism and overall quality of work.

Project manager and crew had good rapport and were neat and thorough in execution and finish.

The gutter cleaning went fine. However the technician ran into problems with the gutter screen installation. The one size fits all product did not fit my gutters. He told me that there was another product that would work but he did not have any with him. He told me that he had already contacted the office and they would call about another appointment. He finished cleaning up and left. The next day I received a voice message from All Dat Projects stating they would be back in the area the following Tuesday and the technician would be at my house in the afternoon. Well Tuesday came and went and no word from All Day Projects. So after waiting a month for the original appointment only to be told he didn't have the right screen and then for them to be a total no show on the follow up, I decided to try a different path. I purchased and installed my own gutter screen.

Though the price only included outside windows, they did an excellent job and were very reasonable.

They were great, very good. I was pleased.

Very Professional, very punctual (huge plus with me), and all around great. The screens look great and the turn around time was fast. I would hire them again as well as highly recommend them to anyone.

There was excellent communication and easy invoicing for our gutter cleaning. Very pleased with the services performed.

In early September 2017, we hired All Day Projects to re-screen our screen windows/door and to wash all exterior windows/doors. Charles did a great job on both and I posted a 5-star review for Charles and All Day Projects afterwards. The reason why we did not ask the exterior windows/doors to be washed at the same time was because we did not want any cleaning solution to splash onto our brand new shades. In prior years, we hired a different business to wash both interior/exterior windows/doors and their window washers occasionally splashed water onto our blinds and floors. Since our plastic blinds were water resistant, we considered that situation to be inevitable and let it go. This time I decided I could do a decent job cleaning all interior windows/doors myself using Windex. However, I simply could not get the film-like residue out of the glass even after several tries. So we hired All Day Projects back to clean our interior windows/doors. Not only did Charles make all the windows/doors clean and bright, he also showed so much care for our shades and floors in the process (He even laid a towel on the floors to catch any splash, just in case.) Since I have not been able to wipe my big smiles off my face after Charles finished the job, I decided to post another 5-star review for All Day Projects and Charles. We’d recommend All Day Project to our neighbors and friends without any hesitation. It’s always gratifying to see a visitor respect our home as much as we do.

Fine. I upgraded to "premier cleaning" which included cleaning sills. The basic is for 10 windows, I added my garage door windows this all added $80 to my bill

Went well, the exterior cleaning device for high windows did not work so the technician had to do by hand which resulted in some streaked windows.

It went well, even though they had to come back to secure some of them. Emily is a great and friendly person.

Were punctual and cleaned the windows well. Screens were included in cleaning but had to remind them to clean couple of the screens which did not come out. Though frames were excluded in the package, few of the window frames were left with the dirt fallen from window cleaning. One wipe down on the frame would have cleared it. One extra step/bonus for the customer can go long way. However I was happy with them cautioning us about a part of the older window was about to fall off.

Polite on the phone, polite in person, punctual, and clear in communication. Only downside was the relatively long waiting period (booked mid-July for 1st week of September)
