Description of Work: My garage door would no longer close normally, but rather would shut then reopen. The reason was unclear. I had two companies look at it. The other company said I needed a new door (very expensive), but that the opening mechanism was fine. Precision said the door was fine, but that I needed a new mechanism. The estimate was less than half of that of the other company. Precision was also correct. They installed a new mechanism and it works great new. Had I gone with the other company, I would have spent a ton of money, and it still would not have worked.

 + -1 moreThe out-building had an irregular and weak frame for the opening. However, Darin added framing to accommodate the door and strengthen the building. The final cost was exactly as quoted months earlier. Highly recommended.

 + -1 moreMy garage door quit working. Because I work during the week it was a Saturday when I finally got around to calling someone. Several places were closed Saturday, but when I got Precision I reached the owners home. The guys wife said he wasn't available, he was up on the mountain, but she promised he would call me back the same day. By 8 pm I hadn't heard back from him so I thought and quot;that was thatand quot;. By 8:30 he called and made an appointment to come look at it on Monday. They were here and waiting by the time I got home. They examined the door and determined that I needed a new spring. The guy said he would come back later in the day when I was off of work and comp;eted the work in the same day!
Description of Work: garage door springs replaced.
