 + -1 moreHe did an EXCELLENT JOB! Some idiot had GLUED down carpet and all the adhesive had to be sanded off. Years of stains were sanded off. I chose dark walnut min wax stain and it looks beautiful! I have 3 dogs and the swedish finish is high quality so scratches are not even showing through yet. I have seen his work at Hamley's Restaurant in Pendleton where he did custom inlay work. I have seen his work at Bright's Candy Store in downtown Walla Walla as well, which was a much lighter floor. He came highly recommended by everyone I asked. Three of my neighbors have used him as well, and the house that just sold down the street is using him too.
Description of Work: Approximately 752 sq ft screened, sanded, repaired, filled, stained and 3 coats of swedish finish in living room,dining room, small hallway and 2 bedrooms. I think the price was about $5 per sq foot plus a little more for repairs on my 1910 hardwood floors. I also had 4 wood vents installed with the same stain and finish, and he made 2 reducers for the entry into other rooms.
