Scott is a great builder with high standards. When he sees something that does not meet his standards, he gets it fixed. He is very responsive and strives to make the process as stress-free (and fun) for his customer as possible. He also wants the customer to get the house they want - his houses are truly custom. He is very busy, so if your project is long term, as ours is (house and shop), the crew will be absent from the site at times, but staying busy with several projects is how he keeps his prices down. Just understand that, and plan for it. Our house is being built with quality construction practices, which is our primary goal. Scott uses quality subs and all the trades people interact well. He keeps a clean site and preserves work already done (covering the flooring to protect it, for example). He is always thinking ahead and he takes advantage of opportunities to save money (the customer's money) through good planning. His budget is completely transparent - you will know what you are paying for.
