He is prompt and professional. He gets the job done quickly. He does an excellent job and comes back if it's needed. He moves the furniture beforehand and moves it back when the job is complete.
Description of Work: I used Superior Carpet Service Inc to clean the carpets in my home.

In January, we had a flood from our kitchen sink. After Service Master dried the house we had new duct work and insulation installed. Then we selected Superior Carpet to do the flooring we wanted. Matthew Sekreta was quite the salesman and promised us a floor as "Smooth as a Babies Bottom". After a couple weeks we noticed raised areas & large patches that were bubbling up. We called Mr Sekreta and he said he would put a floating vinyl over the top of it, at an additional cost of $600 to $800. We did some research and were told that the defective floor installed by Superior Carpet was just too bad to try and cover it up. The defects would eventually telescope through. We called Superior Carpet again and Mr Sekreta came to our home. This time he said he would install a floating floor at no cost to us. We told Mr Sekreta that we could not do that, we wanted the floor that we purchased. We shared with him the information we had gathered from 4 other flooring professionals. When we told Matthew Sekreta about this he told us to take him to court and we'd get nothing. We paid a Certified Flooring Inspector, Randall Montgomery to provide us with the reasons the floor failed. Mr Montgomery did some tests and made his inspection. He did ask us some questions regarding the installation procedure and we answered them the best we could considering we weren't there during much of the installation. Mr Montgomery's report indicated that all of the problems were related to installation and the basic guidelines were not followed in regard to rolling the floor (no flattening of trowel marks), conditioning the floor to the job site (it was snowing outside and he delivered the material the day of installation) and he had also used several space heaters which create moisture, amoung . Mr Montgomery, Certified Flooring Inspector, also stated that there was no evidence of any moisture and the defective floor had nothing to do with the flood. When approaching Matthew Sekreta he stated that the report was just based on lies we told the inspector. We did go to court and we won, however we will never recover the cost of the legal action nor were we awarded what it is going to cost to have our floor fixed. Mr Sekreta was not truthful in court stating that we withheld the fact that we had had a flood and further stated that Service Master did not dry out our house properly. There was another state inspector that came out to check for moisture, mold and mildew. He stated that Service Master indeed did a good job drying us out and he did not find any signs of moisure, mold or mildew. Mr Sekreta was rude, confrontational and did not stand behind his work. This is totally unacceptable to us. We did not go through the Contractors Board as they would have required that Superior Carpet Service do the work to replace the floor. As far as we were concerned, we did not want him back in our home for any reason. We no longer trust his ability, his intent nor his integrity. It appears to us the the laws are written to protect the contractor and not the consumer. We are currently working with our local legislator to hopefully change that. Mr Sekreta did not provide the paperwork required by law when he started the job. At least I will be informed for the future. It has been a learning experience, but so is touching a hot stove.
Description of Work: We purchased Mannington Benchmark Vinyl Flooring from him and hired him and his crew of 2 to install it.
