We had Marc Spaeth remove and install a composite stone shower kit and a new undermount kitchen sink. He did a very professional job. from the initial job review till he finished he was very knowledgeable and offered many tips when we asked. Always showed up and finished the job promptly. Cleaned up totally when he left for the day. He was a pleasure to talk to, cracks a few jokes and does exceptional remodeling . We intend to use Spaeth contracting for another project and have recommended Marc to several other neighbors and freinds.

This was considerably more involved than the usual bathroom remodel, much more akin to a full kitchen remodel - a total gut and rebuild in a larger than usual bath, in an older home, with lots of intrinsic difficulties and "special requests". To further complicate matters, work commenced just as the COVID lockdowns began, turning what should have been a 4 week job into a 3+ month job, as suppliers were closed down, deliveries were delayed, and, in one case, with the loss of over two weeks because a critical supplier had its operations suspended due to alleged lockdown violations. The process, in short, could have been a total nightmare for all concerned but for Mr. Spaeth's courtesy, good humor, and professionalism. In fact, despite the problems, he was quickly able to give us a reasonably usable bath while the rest of the project continued around us as materials trickled in. Mr. Spaeth was always punctual, worked diligently, evinced real pride in his work, did a thorough clean-up at the end of each day's efforts and was always courteous and willing to accommodate "special requests" and to discuss and explore options. In several cases, he also came up with truly ingenious "fixes" and modifications which contributed immeasurably to the finished product (even reconfiguring some light fixtures which we wanted but which did not work in the proposed application - he not only figured out an acceptable fix, but, on his own initiative, secured the parts needed and personally reworked the lights to get us the desired result). I particularly appreciated his assistance in refining our "vision" for the end result. Not only did he make useful suggestions for improving the end result, but he was also ready to accommodate our own visions for the space (even liaising with potential suppliers to get the items we wanted). ln short, he made the project a truly collaborative effort, giving us, in the end, a bath which extracts "oohs and aahs" from all who see it. His price estimate was commensurate with other bids and the only divergence from the agreed price was entirely due to some additional work which we imposed mid-job (which necessitated yet further delay in completion). Unfortunately, for every silver lining there is a cloud, which observation brings me to a caveat (a painful necessity which I wish I could avoid). At the end of the job, there were a few items which remained to be fixed or finished. Despite multiple promises by the contractor to take care of them, several months have passed without follow-through and the contractor has essentially discontinued contact, "ghosting us" as it were. I would therefore recommend, as a condition of the contract, a "hold back provision" of 10% of the project cost pending a final inspection with sign off and final payment upon resolution.

The job was for installation services only - we selected and bought all materials. Our bathroom remodel included removing the bathtub and putting in a shower with floor to ceiling subway tile, and installing new floor tile, granite counter top, toilet, sink, backsplash, lighting and fan replacement as well as new fixtures for the shower, toilet and sink. The tile grout was done really well. The job might have been on the small side for Marc, but we received personable, professional and reliable services. Marc was also helpful offering options for us to decide on. Particularly enjoyed that Marc was able to do nearly all the work himself and only had a plumber come in for 1/2 day - hence only one person to deal with. Would definitely hire Marc again and can highly recommend his quality services.

Wow!! Mark is fantastic! Exceptionally skilled and fun to work with. We needed a bathroom remodel to accommodate a wheelchair. Mark was very aware of the work site requirements, cleaned up everyday, very patient with all my changes, made my dads bathroom remodel enjoyable. And, Oh My Gosh!!! He made this bathroom look like the cover of a magazine. Stained concrete floor, beautiful reclaimed barn board, corrugated metal shower, live edge shelves, and vanity top, way beyond my expectations!! His eye for design is amazing! I have two more projects to do, I will definitely have him back!!

Amazing!! If you are looking for a contractor that can do everything this is the one!! He is there when he says he will be, always done on time exactly like you want it. He makes me want to do another project!! we have been in the valley a long time and have never found anyone as fair and reliable as Marc.

Extremely happy with the new addition to our home. We added a mother-in-law suite, craft room, bonus room, mudroom and remodeled the kitchen. He was very professional throughout the entire process and helped us navigate through some unusual situations. He was very conscious about noise levels and keeping the building site clean. Very pleased with the final results.

Marc was a pleasure to work with on this project. He offered his ideas and inspiration as well as solving the issues that tend to arise with an older home. My guests are truly enjoying this new bathroom. His depth of knowledge and his willingness to find fresh solutions to sticky problems was very much appreciated. Marc did a wonderful job remodeling my kitchen, doing exactly what I asked for and completed the job before the expected completion date. He was very careful and covered my wood floors with paper to protect them from abuse during the remodel and was always there when he said he would be. I would hire him again.

He never fails to show when he says he will, he does such fantastic work and even offered to hang my flowers for me. We have used him for multiple projects in the past and we are always satisfied.

Mr. Spaeth did a wonderful job, was always on time, cleaned up any mess daily. I am thrilled with the entire job and my home is a wonderful retreat for us. The new bathroom and bedroom are especially beautiful and the tiling and glass countertop in the bathroom are superb. Mr. Spaeth is very skilled and personable, and we enjoyed the remodling process. Very few people can say that about a remodling job!
