My old fence was a disaster. Mr. Hoffman spent an entire day just dismantling the old fence, and hauling off all of the debris. The next day, he set all of the 4x4 cedar post 2' deep in concrete, 8' on center. Finally, he used screws, not nails, and put up all of the 1x6 cedar. He used not 2, but 3 (2x4) rails on the back side of the fence, using brackets to secure them. The fence was on a slope, and the boards were perfectly spaced so that the fence followed the slope of the land without gaps. I am very happy with my new fence. He was also able to cut a platform bed with drawers down a size, and add rollers on the bottom for movability, without impacting the drawers on both sides. I had purchased the bed at an estate sale, but it was too big for my bedroom. I will continue to hire him for my projects

He is a builder that is doing anything he can right now to survive. His name is Bob Hoffman. He has previously hung some kitchen cabinets. He fixed a leak even though he is not a plumber. He's my go to guy. He does fences, decks, drywall, dry rot repair, doors and windows. He does home maintenance and property management. He also does some electrical work. His prices are very reasonable. To fix a leak in my rental it was 30 miles roundtrip and he only charged $35 or $40. He is extremely dependable and very, very reasonable especially with his expertise. He was a builder. He is normally on time. He is not much of a talker but he is very professional. He gets here and he goes to work and he keeps working. I have to make him stop for lunch. He is honest.
