Description of Work: Installed a new 4 port ductless HVAC system. |Originally a temporary one day "replacement worker" whom came on board with the crew only on the final day of the job and whom was filling in for the lead installer whom hurt/broke? his leg messed up pretty good. What happened: At the end of the final day of the install it was later in the afternoon, this temporary "replacement worker" when asked by myself "shouldnt we do a test on the system before you guys go?" replied we did a test. I asked him "shouldnt we let the system run for awhile to make sure everything is up to speed?" He replied "we turned it on, it works". This is not verbatim, but the gist of the conversation. So they packed up, left although I still really felt that the system should have been allowed to run for a longer period. As it it turned out, I was right. My brand new HVAC system did not work. Yes, it turned on - powered up, but did not cool down or heat up like it was supposed to. All it did was power up. The boss/owner himself - Nathan Perry came out day of when I called to tell him about the issue and he himself day of fixed the incorrectly installed portion of the system. Nathan Perry is/was wonderful to deal with. Nathan Perry, the owner is very respectful, punctual, was genuinely apologetic for the temporary "replacement worker's" attitude and work performance. Nathan Perry did a fantastic job to troubleshoot the issue(s) and to immediately make full repair(s) to the incorrectly installed portion(s) of the system. I do not fault the company on the actions of the temporary "replacement" whom filled in for the lead installer whom hurt/broke his leg. Instead, I commend Nathan Perry for trying to get the job finished despite the loss of his lead installer due to injury. I do not fault Nathan Perry and this company for the actions of this one temporary "replacement worker" whom I understand has long since been let go/no longer is associated with Nathan Perry Heating and Air Conditioning. I very much recommend this company and would definitely hire them again! Thank you very much Nathan. My HVAC system has been working beautifully ever since you last stopped by :)

Description of Work: installed new gas furnace and air conditioner and programmable thermostat. Very quick and efficient. Sent three guys so whole job was done in 5 hours. It was also almost 100 degrees on day of installation and I never heard a complaint from the guys.

Description of Work: We received multiple estimates from HVAC companies. Nathan Perry was in our 'Final Two'. We would have gone with them if the competitor had not come up with a slightly better system at a slightly lower price, all other things being equal. |The competitor also included a ten year service/warranty contract. This was available through NP, but would have been an added charge.

Description of Work: Corrected improper wiring to thermostat,installed new programmable thermostat,installed heat sensor for heat pump,tested system for proper operation.

Description of Work: They installed my furnace several years ago and did a fine job. However, at that time there were some issues with miscommunication about removing old equipment that was suppose to be left. Since then I have called twice for additional service and never got a call back. Not even a response to answer my questions.

Description of Work: My AC was not working. There was some mixup on the phone, but they came out right away. The service call lasted less than 20 min. They changed some sort of condenser (Or flux capacitor!) and I was good to go.

Description of Work: I had previously called another company because my ac wasn't working. The repairman told me it was really old and really dirty. The interior could be cleaned with the proper solvent, but I would have to make another appt for that. I got the impression the guy didn't really want to do the job. He dusted the interior, but suggested I needed to purchase a new system. (We're talking big bucks, here.) He also told me I shouldn't turn it on until later that evening (which made no sense to me). Through a friend's recommendation I decided to call Nathan Perry. The repair guy came out within an hour. Cleaned out the interiors of the furnace and the ac. He told me that it wasn't that dirty. He switched out a capacitor, but it still wasn't working properly. Then he found a short in the system, which the other person missed. Fixed that... and stayed until everything was working properly. He didn't think I should replace the old lady just yet. His philosophy was that as long as I could keep the system working with a few fairly inexpensive repairs, I should do so. I totally agree with that.

Description of Work: We have used Nathan Perry Heating & Air Conditioning. The most recently came out to trouble-shoot our air conditioner. He made the adjustment and didn't charge us anything. He has replaced our furnace and put a new fan in the air conditioner.
