 + -1 moreHe never called or showed so we called him and he said sorry for not calling they were busy and they would start on Tuesday or Wednesday, October 6 or 7, 2015. When these dates came and went and no gardener or phone call, I knew we made a mistake and we called to cancel the service. I would not recommend him.
Description of Work: We contracted with this company to do our home yard work. He visited our home, looked over the yard, and quoted us a price of $150 per month to maintain our yard plus he offered to repair an irrigation system on the side of our hill. We accepted this, shook hands and he said he would call with a start date and prices on some additional plants the hill required.

Description of Work: I hadn't used Hector in a quite while, but I couldn't remember why. I called him on Monday, June 29th and asked if he would be interested in doing a spring clean-up of my yard, basically pulling weeds, mowing, etc. He remembered me and my yard and we agreed on a price of $150 for the work and he was to be at my house at 11AM on Wednesday, July 1st. At 11:45 he still had not arrived so I called him. He apologized and admitted that he had forgotten the appointment. He told me that he would be at my house by 1PM. I waited until almost 3PM for leaving to run my errands. When I returned home my yard had not been touched and there was no sign that he had stopped by while I was gone. He never called me to explain or reschedule. At that point I remembered why I had stopped hiring him. I won't make the same mistake again.

 + -1 moreHector was pleasant, professional, and responsive. Hector and Raoul did a quick, excellent job. Hector remembered small details that I wanted done, or not done. At the end of the trimming work he did a total cleanup of my yard. I will be using him for all my hedge trimming in the future.

 + -1 moreWe just moved into a house on 1 acre of land. Landscaped in front, lots of trees and grass in back and along the easements. The previous owners hadn't taken care of the yard in months apparently, and the grass was beyond knee high and gone to seed. Several smaller Cypress trees were dead, the landscaping was so overgrown you couldn't tell what plants were in there, plus a dead fir had fallen a few weeks prior that also needed to be cut up. Hector came exactly on time with his crew of 2, and in approx 4 hrs had the entire property cleaned up! The dead trees were removed, the downed tree was cut up, the field of grass was mowed down, poison oak was dug up, the landscaped gardens were weeded and cleaned, and several nice plants and flowers were suddenly found! His trailer was full of debris he removed for us. He walked through the property with me before and after, and answered several questions about continued care and maintenance, plus helped identify some plants I wasn't familiar with. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the work he and his crew did was amazing! The place looks great! His price was actually less than I had expected for the amount of work needing done. His crew is fast and professional. I highly recommend him!

 + -1 moreHad to take it from my truck to the back yard. Not an easy job. I had not planned the purchase of the tree. When I got it home I called Marty who had done work for me previously with a message to call me asap. He called my right back. . I explained that I had a tree in my truck and could he possibly fit me in to at least get it to the back yard. And hopefully plant it for me. It seems he had a slot open that day that would work and he was here in about an hour and a half. Lucky me! Marty is very easy to work with. Reasonable Prices. Does great work . I highly recommend him.

Description of Work: I hired Mr. H. (Hector Ornelas) to do extensive pruning and tree removal in both my front and back yard. Mr. Ornelas spent 3 days during which time he pruned 3 Raywood Ash trees. Two were over 35 feet tall, and the other was over 20 feet tall. He also removed a 25 foot Leylandi cypress, and two tall Arborvitae. He arrived with an assistant, and was always at work by 0900. each day. Mr. . Ornales is very professional, and takes pride in his work. He is also very knowledgable regarding the proper way to prune, and does not just cut off the top of the trees. I was also very impressed with the way that he cleaned up at the end of the project. It was difficult for me to tell that they had even been there, other than that my trees looked much lighter. I would hire this man again in a hot second. Great Job!!!
