Description of Work: I hired Jose to do a "Spring Cleaning" of my overgrown yard and driveway, which included weeding, spraying Round-up, removing a couple a dead bushes and moving a couple of others. He came over a few days before the work was performed to give me an estimate. When he arrived I recognized him and knew that I had used him before, although I could not remember why I had stopped. He was friendly and seemed to have a good idea of what I needed done, so I went ahead and hired him again. We agreed on $150 dollars for the work which in the end turned out to take a total of four man hours. Overall I was happy with the job that was done, although as is usually the case after someone leaves, I find one or two areas where I wish they had spent a little more time. The one issue I did have was with his punctuality. He was almost thirty minutes late for the estimate appointment and on the day the work was to be performed he did not show up at the scheduled time. I waited forty-five minutes before calling him and he told me that he would be there in an hour. He did not show up then either and when I called him again he said that he would be there in thirty minutes and promised to complete the work by the end of the day. His two co-workers eventually showed up, two and a half hours after the scheduled time and he showed up thirty minutes later. I had planned my week around the day and time of that work, so the late start was very inconvenient for me. I will use Jose again, but only if there is some sort of an agreement about what happens if they are late. If he was here on time and I was late, I am sure that he would have expected me to pay him for his time that I wasted.

Description of Work: Gutters cleaned as well as yard clean and debris removal. Plants pruned as well as winterizing irrigation systems and ponds with water features.

Description of Work: For weekly lawn and yard work I use J Z Landscaping Maintenance. He will also do other things I need like cleaning gutters, cut down trees, installing bark, yard cleaning, minor work with the irrigation system, mowing, aerating, thatching, and so forth. I believe he charges $75 a month.
