As I recall I called George three times before he made it out to our place to do an estimate. I assume his price was fair: about $800 in labor to install about $1900 worth of vinyl. He had good ideas about saving us some square footage on the material. We moved out and scheduled him to do the work while we were away and the job was done in the time promised. I gave him a fair rating because he did not clearly warn us what would happen when you replace flooring with a thinner material. He did say that we would need some transition strips between rooms but his only description was "it will look bee-u-tiful". The strips look cheap to us. I think a more professional installer would have forewarned us of thesethings and we would not have been so disappointed when we first saw the job. He did not tell us that there would be big gaps below the baseboards in some transition places and that a 1/4" of wall would be exposed above the baseboards. It took me hours to repaint that little stripe around the entire perimeter, and as I did so I was pretty disappointed with the sloppy way some of the baseboard pieces were replaced. I also noticed a slight ripple in the vinyl where it goes around a corner. Since we had to turn the house over to the new owners just days after this install we did not nit-pick with George and he was kind enough to return to our place to pick up his payment since the check book was lost in the shuffle when he first gave us his bill.
Description of Work: VERY nice guy. He was recommended by the flooring company to install sheet vinyl in our kitchen and hallways after removing tongue and groove cork panels which I had ruined by letting the floor get wet. We had just sold our home and needed to get this job done before the new owners arrived.

George the installer was close to time getting here; he was very reasonably priced and finished the job as promised. He is friendly, but a thorough professional.
