FIGUEROA'S LANDSCAPING LLP

We are very pleased with the walls (beautiful stonework!), fountain, patio, and walkway and the plantings are surviving well. However, some of the work was not so great...while the deer fencing is ok, the 2 gates do not open and close properly. No diagrams were left for the irrigation and electrical systems, making it difficult for us to make adjustments and to install the outdoor lighting. And no manual was left for the irrigation pump, which is currently in need of cleaning or repair. The project went along very well until the end (which explains why I have given some categories a N/A). Until that time, Mr. Figueroa was responsive to our questions and requirements. At the end, however, some details did not get attended to. I believe that the project may have overrun his estimate as to time and cost and some shortcuts were made. If I could rate the end of the project separately, I would give it a B. Despite that, I highly recommend Figureroa's Landscaping, especially for stonework. Mr. Figueroa is very pleasant to work with and his crew is punctual and courteous.

Gumaro Figueroa and his crew did a very good job in a reasonable amount of time at a satisfactory price. We had hired a landscape consultant to help us design and draw up plans for this landscape renovation. Gumaro did a good job following the plan and in some cases added good suggestions for changes. The pavers on one side of the house were one of his suggestions. There was some minimal existing landscaping in this area, but it didn't make much sense since it is really a 5 ft. wide walk-through, not an area you would spend any time in. He suggested removing the existing plants along the fence as well as the decomposed granite path and paving the whole area with interlocking concrete pavers. It is now a nicely paved walk-through with space for a garden tool shed and storage of a canoe. I was especially pleased with the new patio. They used appropriate reinforcing in the concrete slab and were careful to keep a wooden roof post elevated on a metal base slightly above the surface to keep the bottom of the post from rotting. The patio was properly sloped and graded and the installer did a very nice job fitting and setting the flagstones in a pleasing and tight pattern. Likewise, the flagstones in the walkway were also skillfully done. There were a few minor problems when Gumaro was not present on the job, but they were quickly resolved. All in all we are very pleased with the way this project turned out and would highly recommend Figueroa landscaping.
